Battles for the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Global Challenge 2025 I online competition have begun. This competition is a Double Battle competition running Regulation G rules. Battles are running through 23:59 UTC on February 2nd.
This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles. Players enrolled in the Play! Pokémon circuit can earn Championship Points if they rank high enough and players in Japan and South Korea can earn a spot for the qualifiers for their National competitions

Pokémon Sleep
Pokémon Sleep has announced the next event, the Valentine's Day 2025 event which adds Paldean Wooper and Clodsire into the game. It addds two new Dessert/Drink recipes too. It runs February 10th through 17th in all areas
During the event, Dishes will be set to Desserts/Drinks, Pokémon of different Sleep Styles will appear, Dish strength will be increased by 1.5 and you have a higher chance of some Shiny Pokémon appearing.
Paldean Wooper and Clodsire are Poison-type Pokémon which are of the Dozing Sleep Type. They'll be available from February 10th at 15:00 local time

The latest set for Pokémon TCG Pocket has been officially revealed. This set is called Space-Time Smackdown and will release on January 30th 2025 and features over 140 cards across two Booster Packs. It also introduces Pokémon Tools into the game
This set is built around Pokémon in the Sinnoh region and adds multiple Pokémon and cards as well as new Collection Binder and Displays
Trading comes on January 29th 2025. It has its own stamina, and additional items Trade Tokens, that are required in order to trade cards and, as reported last week, only cards from 1 Diamond to 1 Star can be traded and they can only be traded with cards with the same rarity

Further activities have been announced for the Europe International Championships. First there will be TCG Artist signings with Yuka Morii, KEIICHIRO ITO, Shinji Kanda & Yuu Nishida. They will sign personalised autographs on specially provided items.
You will also be able to meet the casters and take photos with them
The Pokémon Company International have announced that registration for the Pokémon Center will open up tomorrow, January 22nd at 14:00 UTC. You will need a slot to enter the Pokémon Center but you will not need a spectator pass. This will be done through the registration page on the official Pokémon website

The first Shadow Pokémon focused Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Shadow Ho-Oh will appear in Raids on each Gym in the are.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day, as well as being able to Remotely participate in Shadow Raids. You will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Ho-Oh after completion of the raid
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

Pokémon TCG Pocket - Trading
Pokémon TCG Pocket has revealed some details for the coming Trading feature, which is available later this month.
Trading can be done between friends and only for cards of the same rarity. Only certain cards from Genetic Apex and Mythical Island will be able to be traded, specifically cards of a rarity from 1 Diamond up to 1 Star. Cards of 2 Star, 3 Star or Crown rarity cannot be traded.
A specific item also has to be consumed in order to trade.
The next set is also planned to be added later this month. We'll provide full details as they come

A Tour Pass Deluxe will be available which is a paid extra which gives upgraded rewards and faster progression.. This includes Pokémon encounters, Candy and more. The Tour Pass Deluxe gives an immediate encounter with Victini
Tour Points are earned by activities like catching Pokémon and completing raids. Pass Tasks will be available as Field Research to give even more
As you get Tour Points, you will hit Minor and Major milestones. With Major Milestones you will get special bonuses durign Pokémon GO Tour Global.
The Free Tour Pass at the end will offer a Zorua with a Special Background while the Deluxe will offer the new item, the Lucky Trinket.
This item can be used to turn a friend into a Lucky Friend immediately. It will expire on March 9th 2025
The Pokémon GO Tour Pass Ddeluxe will cost $14,99 and another version will cost $19.99 and give 10 immediate ranks

It has been confirmed that the Pokémon Center in Hiroshima is to close and relocate to the second floor of Ekie at the north exit of Hiroshima Station. The current store will close at the end of March while the new one will opeen in April. Ahead of that, a special Gyarados Plaza play area will open on the rooftop of the Soroma Plaza from March 24th 2025 and Pokémon will adorn Hiroshima Station in displays

The latest Mega Evolution focused Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Mega Gallade will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area, adding Mega Gallade into the game.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Gallade after completion of the raid
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

Dynamax Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres will be the first Legendary Pokémon capable of Dynamax in the game and will be available via Max Mondays. They will appear in Max Mondays but then be active rarely for the week following. January 20th brings Articuno, January 27th brings Zapdos and February 3rd brings Moltres

Niantic have announced that Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will be made available during the Pokémon GO Tour events. These events run in Los Angeles and Taipei on February 21st through 23rd and Globally from March 1st. These Pokémon will be obtained through Fusing Kyurem with Reshiram and Zekrom with special Fusion Energy obtained by Raids after defeating Black Kyurem & White Kyurem in raids
If you have a Kyurem that knows Glaciate, your Black Kyurem will have Freeze Shock and your White Kyurem can have Ice Burn
During the Global event there will be Special Backgrounds for Kyurem, Reshiram and Zekrom themed around Pokémon Black & White and if you fuse with one with the opposite background, you'll get a unique Special Background on your Black Kyurem or White Kyurem
There will be some unique Enigma Field Research in the in-person event, based around N, at the GO Tour Unova which will have a Special Background. These Pokémon are Purrloin, Pidove, Boldore, Woobat, Timburr, Tympole, Sandile, Darumaka, Darmanitan, Scraggy, Sigilyph, Joltik, Ferroseed, Klink

There will be unique Timed Research to get 4 Sinnoh Stones and a Ralts

The Community Day Continued Timed Research will also be available which will provide items and encounters with Ralts

Shinx in an outfit, Minccino in an outfit and Furfrou will be in 1 Star raids
Butterfree in an outfit and Dragonite in an outfit will be in 3 Star Raids
There will be paid Timed Research for $5 to get 3,500 XP, 3,500 Stardust, an avatar pose and encounters with event Pokémon like Dragonite, Minccino & Furfrou
There will be Collection Challenge to get an encounter with Shinx in an outfit

Three special Poké Fair Scouts have begun in Pokémon Masters EX. These are special Select Poké Fair Scouts which run until January 20th 2025. The first features various Sync Pairs including Selene (Alt) & Nihilego and Giacomo & Kingambit, the second features Klara & Galarian Slowbro and Dexio & Espeon and the third features Eri & Annihilape and Milo & Eldegoss, among others.

The next Pokémon Café ReMix event has been announced. This event is the return of the Tender Psyduck Points events where you play solo to earn points to get Psyduck. It runs from tomorrow, January 3rd 2025

The next Pokémon TCG Pocket event is now live. This event is the first Drop Event which features special Solo Battles with various rewards and missions to complete. It adds numerous new Promos into the game including Blastoise. It runs until January 15th 2025

Pokémon TCG Pocket has started its new monthly run of Subscription Missions for players with the paid subscription. With this, the shop has updated with new Coins, Playmats, Sleeves, Display Boards & Binders featuring Charizard
Alongside this, a new mission is live that will give players with the subscription the Moltres ex Promo

Pokémon Masters EX has announced the next event. This event is the Friend Making Battle event and introduces the Sync Pair of Raihan & Sandaconda and Poppy & Shiny Steelix into the game. It runs from January 3rd 2025

A new trainer has been added to Pokémon Masters EX's Trainer Lodge. From now on, if you have obtained Lana & Araquanid already, you have the ability to invite Lana into the Trainer Lodge and befriend her. If you get the Friendship Level to 100, you will now be able to get the new Sync Pair, Lana & Lanturn. We have updated our Trainer Lodge Topics page to include the points each topic will give you when you speak to Shauna
Alongside this, a new Poké Fair Scout is now live allowing you to get the sync pair of Iono & Bellibolt. This runs until February 1st 2025.
A new Mix Fair Scout is also now live which adds the Sync Pair of Lucas & Torterra
In addition to this, a new Sync Pair has been added to the Damage Challenge Exchange, Hop & Pincurchin
Finally, some new Secret Titles have been added for players to unlock

One new piece of Holowear has been released for Pokémon UNITE. This is the Kimono Holowear for Tsareen which is obtained by completing a Mini Event Pass. It has a unique animation for Movement.

Pokémon Café ReMix has added a new Monthly Goal Pass pass which offers a chear to get the Pokémon Ceruledge, which has now been added into the game, as well as max out its Outfit Grade as you complete it throughout the month.
