Niantic have confirmed that for the first time, Remote Raid Passes will be able to be used to participate in Shadow Raid Battles during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event and Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day event this weekend. Pokémon caught from 5 Star Shadow Raids will also have higher stats than normal

Pokémon Sleep
Pokémon Sleep has announced the next update will come following a maintenance period on January 16th 2025. This maintenance will run from 04:30 UTC to 09:00 UTC and include data for coming events and Pokémon
In addition to that, several Pokémon will be adjusted
Raticate, Kangaskhan, Heracross and Slaking will have their frequency shortened
Kangaskhan, Wobbuffet and Slaking will have their Carry Limit increased
Wobbuffet will have its main skill chance increased
The Items Pocket will be able to be upgraded further to hold 1000 items.

Pokémon GO
The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out in Asia Pacific regions. This event is the Team GO Rocket takeover of the Fashion Week event which includes the addition of Shadow Palkia as well as Shroodle & Grafaiai. It runs from 00:00 local time on January 15th through 20:00 local time on January 19th.

Pokémon Café ReMix
The Pokémon Café ReMix event, Collect with Gholdengo, has made its fortnightly return. This event has Gimmighoul appear as icons in the stages. If you collect them, you can earn rewards including Gholdengo. It runs until January 17th at 05:59 UTC
