Like previous games, Pokémon Black & White features rivals that you'll face throughout the game. The rival covered within this page is the female childhood friend, Bianca. You will encounter her numerous times throughout the game and she'll typically need your help when she isn't battling you. She will pick the Starter Pokémon that is weak against yours and will battle you straight away in your home in Nuvema Town

After you have defeated both her & Cheren, you will begin your journey and meet up in Route 1. Bianca, however will argue with her father about leaving. her father does not wish her to go but she leaves anyway. However, before you can go to Route 1, you have to meet Bianca & Cheren at Professor Juniper's Lab where you'll all receive a Pokédex in order to document the Pokémon you encounter in your journey.

The next encounter with Bianca is just before you enter Striaton City at the top of Route 2

The next encounter with Bianca takes place in Route 3. After you have battled Cheren, Bianca will appear and inform you that Team Plasma have stolen one of her Pokémon. After you and Cheren make haste into the Opening of the Underground Water Vein to defeat Team Plasma, you will find yourself unable to rescue her Munna as Team Plasma have taken it to Castelia City

When you get to Castelia City gym, Cheren will tell you that the gym leader is away from the gym. You can find Burgh in the Prime Pier in Castelia City with Bianca and the Opelucid Gym Leader, Iris. They will speak about a plan to go to get Bianca's Pokémon back. Go to the building in the Pokémon Gym Street of Castelia City and you will face Team Plasma. Defeat them, and you will rescue Bianca's Munna.

Later, as you leave Castelia City, Bianca will challenge you to a battle. She will have the ape that is weak to her starter.

When you enter Nimbasa City, you will encounter Team Plasma who are harassing the Bike Shop owner. Defeat them and Bianca will appear and will later show you to the Pokémon Musical Hall and give you the Goods Case in order to partake in the Musicals. As you leave, her father will appear and say that she has become stronger since she has left and approves of her journey as a Pokémon Trainer

After you have defeated Clay at Driftveil City's Gym, when you try to exit to Route 6, Bianca will challenge you to a battle to see how strong you have become. If you defeat her, she will give you HM02 - Fly.

Following this, you will encounter Cheren once again on the other side of the Driftveil Drawbridge where you will both encounter Clay who will tell you that Team Plasma has taken up residence in thecity. He refuses to accept another battle from you until you defeat Team Plasma within the city. Go to the Freezer Container and he'll note that this is the last place to look so they must be in there

The next encounter with Bianca is when you enter the Chargestone Cave. When you enter, you will soon be faced with rocks blocking your path. Professor Juniper will appear, with Bianca acting as her protector against wild Pokémon and Team Plasma, will appear and tell you that the rocks can be pushed, but only in directions which cause the rocks to be attracted magnetically with other rocks.

After you have beaten the Icirrus City Gym, Bianca & Cheren will appear and tell you that Team Plasma have been spotted in the Dragonspiral Tower. After you have battled through the tower with Cheren and Alder, Bianca will be present at the time of the plan making for how to deal with Team Plasma. She will remain in Icirrus City to make sure you know where to go.

After you have received the Light/Dark Stone in Nacrene City, you will encounter Bianca once more in Route 8 as you lead up to Tubeline Bridge. She will say that she has become a stronger trainer and will challenge you to yet another battle.

After defeating the Elite Four, Bianca & Cheren will arrive at your home to give you their congratulations. Bianca will remain in Nuvema Town in Professor Juniper's lab saying she'll help her do the research. She will battle you on Saturday nights, but will give you varying advice on certain aspects of the game such as there being the Moss Rock in Pinwheel Forest and other helpful hints.
