Dream World Expansions

As the time the Dream World is active continues on, expansions are brought into the fold. Some will be new areas, others new parts of the island and they all provide new experiences and new Pokémon. This page is to detail all of the various expansions to the Dream World, what you can find there and any restrictions

Pokémon Café

The Pokémon Café is a special Dream Home you'll find on the map after accessing a promotion which also gives some Furniture and a C-Gear skin. When you come to this island, you will gain access to some new features including a brand new game which gives access to various Pokémon not yet given in the Dream World.

Game - Drink Serving

This new game is accessed solely within the Pokémon Café island and has you have to control a Foongus to carry various drinks to the clients at the Pokémon Café. This is scored based upon your speed and skill in serving the drinks. When you successfully complete the game, like with the games in the normal Dream World areas, you'll have the ability to gain a new Pokémon. As with the rest of the Dream World, you can select one Pokémon a day to take back to your game.

Pokémon Movie

Eindoak is based upon the special area in the movies; Victini & The Black Hero: Zekrom and Victini & The White Hero: Reshiram. This Dream Isle, like the Pokémon Café, is seperate from your island and requires travel to it. Unlike the Pokémon Café island however, it has no Pokémon or new mini-games, but it does have a special feature. If you bring the event Reshiram or Zekrom to Eindoak, you will receive a special C-Gear. You can only get one of the C-Gears per game. However, if you have both games, you can use Reshiram with one and Zekrom with the other and both will be linked with your Global Link account so you can have both.

Mini-Game

This new game is accessed in order to obtain the C-Gears. In it, you control Victini and have togo through collecting power ups to destroy the barrier guarding the treasure chest. However, many of these powerups are behind rocks and require you to find a bonus which allows Victini to smash through the rocks, gaining points and more bonuses. At certain points, Reshiram/Zekrom shall appear and destroy a barrier.

Spooky Manor

The Spooky Manor is a fourth area of the Dream World which also gives some Furniture. When you come to this island, you will gain access to some new features including a brand new game which gives access to various Pokémon not yet given in the Dream World.

Game - Candle Blow Out

This new game is accessed within the Spooky Manor area of the game. In this minigame, your task is to extinguish the candles but make your opponent extinguish the last candle where possible. As such, you have to think strategically. When you select a candle, you have the ability of selecting each of its neighbours horizontally allowing you to extinguish them. Once you've selected them, hit "Blow Out" and it estinguishes them and goes to the computer's turn. If you manage to make the opponent's extinguish the last candle, then you get a gold star.

There are four different kinds of candle to burn out. First, there's the standard candle. Next, there's a golden flame which gives you more points and a blue flame which gives you less points. If you see a large flame, it takes two goes to extinguish it. Once the timer is up, you will get scored on your success. Gain over 5,000 points to befriend a Pokémon.

Rugged Mountain

The Rugged Mountain is a fifth area of the Dream World which also gives some Furniture. When you come to this island, you will gain access to some new features including a brand new game which gives access to various Pokémon not yet given in the Dream World with a focus on Ground and Rock-type Pokémon.

Game - Gem Collect

This new game is accessed within the Rugged Mountain area of the game. In this minigame, you have to control various Pokémon in collecting gems through a 2D landscape while the Pokémon is in a mine-cart on a track
