The Entralink

The Entralink is a new feature within Pokémon Black & White which allows you to connect to your friends and walk around the various parts of Unova. This feature is done over local wireless. This mode is not connectable via the Pokémon Centres but in a special area in Unova. Here, when you're hosting the Entralink, everything looks normal. However, when you're the one joining somebody else's Entralink, you enter a version of Unova that is in monochrome and appear as the multiplayer avatar of your game character.

As you play through the Entralink, there are numerous missions for you to complete, each of which provides a prize in Passballs. This currency is used to purchase and use special powers in your main game to assist you. These powers can then also be shared through the C Gear's Pass By feature. All powers are temporary but each have a decent effect on the game. Each power has three different levels with increasingly strong effects. They are listed below;
