Allocating Pokémon in the new Safari Game is done in an entirely new way. As there are a good deal of Pokémon that are allocated to the Safari Game, only a certain amount are obtainable at one time, therefore there must be a means to get specifics.

In the upstairs of the Safari Game building, there is a lookout with 3 binoculars pointing towards the Safari Game. For 100 PokéDollars you get a brief glimpse around the Safari Game showing certain Pokémon in certain areas, including non-Sinnoh Dex ones after you have obtained the National Dex. Once you've seen the Pokémon you're looking for, go into the Safari Game and you should find it in that area. This however is not a guarantee

The internals of the Safari Game are also different. There are 6 areas in the Safari Game, all interlinked in some way, Surfing or just General paths. However there is a train in the Safari Game that can take you to a specific area so that you can hunt that Pokémon down much easier.

The grass in the Safari Game is also incased in Mud, if you walk too slowly or close to grassless mud, you will get stuck in the mud and have to remove yourself, every time you get yourself out of being stuck, it counts as a step so be weary
