As part of a campaign in stores across Europe, various codes were given to get Mythical Pokémon, specifically Genesect, Marshadow and Volcanion. When you go to a participating store, you will get a code card with all three codes on. The locations are as follows.

It was then given in the US and Canada, as well as Australia in the run-up to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
In the US and Canada, Genesect and Volcanion will be available from October 16th through 29th at Gamestop, while Marshadow will be available from October 30th through November 12th at Target in the US or Gamestop in Canada
In Australia & New Zealand, they will be given at JB Hi-Fi from October 16th through November 18th
In Mexico, it was given at GamePlanet

At World Hobby Fair in Japan, there was a Max Raid Battle experience event. If you participated in the event, you would get given a serial code to give you a Gigantamax capable Coalossal or Lapras.

When you make a purchase at Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores across Japan, you'll receive a special book about the new anime series. In this book there is a serial code to obtain 100 Poké Balls. This code can be redeemed until March 30th 2020
