New Pokémon Forms

Cramorant's forms are a change in battles. When it uses the moves Surf or Dive, your Cramorant picks up its prey and changes form. When it's hit, it shoots out that prey at an enemy to cause damage. If it has over 50% Hit Points when it changes form, it'll change into Gulping Form and if it has 50% or less then it'll change into Gorging Form. The use of Gulp Missile from Gulping Form will do damage and lower opponent's Defense. The use of Gulp Missile from Gorging Form will do damage and paralyse the opponent.

Sinistea and Polteageist are rather unique in that they have alternate forms that many can play the game without noticing. Sinistea and Polteageists are ghosts that inhabit a cup and a teapot. These cups & teapots are said to be rare in Galar, but there are lots of forgeries. With this, it shows Sinistea & Polteageist having unique forms, each with their own Pokédex entry. The non-forgery Sinistea appears 1% of the time in theThese Pokémon can't actually be determined physically but only by how they evolve. The forgeries use the Cracked Pot to evolve but the very rare ones require the Chipped Pot to evolve

There is one way to tell which form you have by appearance, however. For a split frame while it's animating in the Pokédex or when you Dynamax Polteageist, the non-forgery form has got an authenticity stamp.

Alremie has a vast number of forms, numbering in over 60. These forms are obtained when you evolve its pre-evolution, Milcery. To get them, attach a Berry Sweet, Clover Sweet, Flower Sweet, Love Sweet, Ribbon Sweet, Star Sweet, Strawberry Sweet to the Milcery and you have to spin the control stick a certain way. The way you rotate the control stick determines the colour Alcremie is and the hold item determines the decoration that it'll have. Each colour has a form for each decoration

Eiscue is a new Pokémon with an ability that protects it. When sent into battle, it will be in its Ice Face, but if it gets damaged by an attack, the ice on its face breaks and it shows its other form, the Noice Face. It can revert when Hail is in effect. These forms have different stats

Morpeko is a Pokémon with an aesthetic form change. While Morpeko has the ability Hunger Switch, when the turn ends it will change to its other form. This form change doesn't do much but also affects its Aura Wheel move making it Electric-type in the Full Belly Mode and Dark-type in Hangry Mode.

Zacian is one of the Legendary heroes of the past. Due to that, its form had changed quite considerably over time and its stats had been lowered. However, if you attach the Rusted Sword item to it, it will change its form which includes a new type and a stat boost.

Urshifu is a Legendary Pokémon found on the Isle of Armor. When you have bonded with it, you can take it to the Towers in order for it to evolve. The Tower you take it to determines the form. The forms have different movesets, stats, type and Gigantamax Form.

Calyrex is a new Legendary Pokémon which features a new form that you obtain in the course of the story. Like Kyurem and Necrozma, this form change is actually a fusion between Calyrex and another Pokémon. In the story, you actually capture Calyrex in this form.

You can change forms by fusing using the Reins of Unity item. You need both Calyrex and the relevant Pokémon to change the form and you need a spare slot in your team to unfuse them.

Rotom's forms make a return once again, but this time you don't need to go to a specific place in order to change Rotom's form. In Wyndon, you'll encounter a man who battles you with his 3 Rotom forms. Once defeated, he will give you the special Rotom Catalog item which will allow you to change the form of your Rotom anywhere you desire

Zygarde's form change has changed a bit from the prior generation. While Generation 7 required you to gather Zygarde Cells to make or change the forms of a Zygarde. In Sword & Shield, the Zygarde Cube, obtained at Stow-on-Side's Antique Seller, works a little differently, simplifying the situation

Now, the Zygarde Cube has two options when you select it. You can change between 10% Forme and 50% Forme just from the menu. You also have the ability to change Zygarde's Ability from Aura Break to Power Construct and back again utilising the Zygarde Cube.

As before, a Zygarde with the Power Construct ability can change form into Complete Forme when its Hit Points are below 50% in battle.

The Zygarde you get in Dynamax Adventures naturally has the ability Power Construct.
