Macro Cosmos

The first time you see any Macros Cosmos member is when you see the Chairman of the company, Rose, giving a speech at a stadiun at the start of the game. Here, he gives the usual world of Pokémon speech and introduces an exhibition match between Raihan and Leon.

The next encounter and the first time you meet Chairman Rose is in Motostoke. He leads the opening ceremony, introducing all the Gym Leaders. Afterwards, Leon introduces you to Rose. He notices you possess Dynamax Bands and states the Gym Challenge is a perfect place to showcase it. He then has to leave

The next encounter is in Hulbury where you see Rose meeting up with various fans, only for Oleana to send them away. He then meets up with Bede and once again showcases his endorsement of him. Then, he will notice you and say that if you beat Nessa, he'll hold a small celebration for you in the local restaurant

After beating the gym, Rose will be waiting at the restaurant for dinner with you and Sonia. He asks Sonia how Magnolia is as he's indebted to her as she helped work out how to use Wishing Stars to power Dynamax Pokémon and a Power Spot Detector to find locations emiting Galar Particles. He suggests Sonia check out Hammerlocke's vault to research more into Dynamax. However, before he gets a chance to speak with you, Oleana says it's time that they got going

When you get to Hammerlocke, you will hear a conversation between Bede, Oleana and Chairman Rose and learn that Bede has been collecting Wishing Stars as well as Gym Badges quickly. Bede says that the Wishing Stars will help Rose solve the problem that is bothering him. Rose then turns and hopes that you heard the conversation. He explains how Hammerlocke's stadium doubles as an energy plant and shows how it absorbs Galar Particiles and Wishing Star power into electricity. He then suggests you go to the vault to learn more about Dynamax

The next time you see Rose and Oleana is in Stow-on-Side when Bede is caught using Rose's Copperajah to knock down a historical site to look for Wishing Stars. Due to these actions, Rose disqualifies Bede from the Gym Challenge and sends him to Hammerlocke to be dealt with. He says to you and Sonia that it is a terrible shame that it has happened but needs to be done to keep things fair

As you continue your journey, you start to learn of wild Pokémon randomly Dynamaxing. Leon insists that you have to take care of the Gym Challenge while he takes care of it

After the Finals in the Pokémon League, you'll learn that Leon has gone to Rose Tower to meet with Rose but is running late which is why he is late for dinner. As such, you go to find him but Oleana insists he shouldn't be disturbed so gives the key to get up the tower to a League Staff who runs off through Wyndon. With the help of Piers, Marnie and Hop you have to hunt down the staff members in order to get the key

After getting the key, you have to go to Rose Tower. As you're taking the elevator to the roof, you have to battle multiple Macro Cosmos staff members who try to stop you until you get to the roof where you meet with Oleana. She is angry that you have come and disturbed Chairman Rose so insists on battling you to stop you. She has a Gigantamax Garbodor

After defeating Oleana, you can get through and hear Leon's conversation with Rose. Rose talks about an upcoming energy crisis in a thousand years and thinks he needs to cancel the Finals in the Pokémon League to help avert the tragedy, which Leon insists isn't necessary as it's so far away it can wait another day until the situation warrants it. Rose disagrees so Leon leaves.

The next time you encounter Rose is just before the Champion match against Leon. Rose appears on the screen and says he is activating the Darkest Day, the day in history where Dynamax energy pushed through the region until the legendary heroes stopped them. He insists he is doing it for the future of Galar

After recovering the Rusted Sword/Shield from Slumbering Weald, you can go to the Energy Plant where you'll find Oleana. She is concerned because Rose needs to be stopped as he has awakened a Pokémon known as Eternatus who is producing a lot of Dynamax energy that will make wild Pokémon in Galar Dynamax. She asks you to save him.

Go in and he will question what you're doing there. He insists that he's brought about Eternatus and needs the champion to control him. He has been feeding the Wishing Stars to Eternatus in order to produce Galar Particles. He then challenges you.

After defeating Rose, he will soon be apologetic and apologise for ruining the Gym Challenge but insists that it couldn't be helped and they needed to solve the issue, but Eternatus couldn't be controlled and so he had to call on Leon. However, he thinks Leon must have caught it by now so insists you go up to see.

After you deal with Eternatus, you'll learn that Rose has turned himself in and the League Staff return to their usual League duties.

After beating the game, you will find Oleana in Galar Mine. She is doing some voluntary community service for Mr. Rose and will give you his rare League Card. She insists that Rose is thankful for you stopping Eternatus, he was just worried about the future

In the Max Lair, when you speak to Peonia, she will mention that a woman with long hair has been seen by a grave at night. If you go to Old Cemetery at night, you'll find Oleana. She will say that she is there because reports of Chairman Rose have been around. However, Peony appears and after mistaking him for Rose briefly, Oleana finds out that Peony is in fact Rose's brother.
