Wind Elements

Moves based on wind have been a thing since the first generation with moves like Gust. However, starting with Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Wind started to get used as a mechanic for Abilities requiring each move to be flagged if it uses wind as a mechanic

Extra Effects By Wind
There are some other elements to Wind and these are effects of Abilities. First, the ability Wind Rider will boost the user's Attack if a Tailwind is behind it or it is hit by a Wind based move. Another ability, Wind Power boosts the power of the user's next Electric-type move when it gets hit by a wind based move.
