Powder Moves
Powder moves have been a common staple of the Pokémon games since Pokémon Red & Blue. However, in the alteration of the type chart as of Pokémon X & Y, Powder moves have a similar, unique, mechanism added to them as various Sound moves; Pokémon can be immune to them. However, the Pokémon immune to them are very specific. Grass-type Pokémon cannot be affected by these moves. In addition to that, Pokémon with the Overcoat Ability and Pokémon holding the Safety Goggles are not affected by these moves.
If you try and use one of these moves on a Grass-type Pokémon, it shall fail. In the instance of Rage Powder, should the opponent use the move, the Grass-type Pokémon will ignore the effect of the move and damage the foe that has been initially targeted.
