The Pokémon Company have revealed the next Japanese Pokémon TCG set. This set is Battle Partners, the latest main set in the series, and re-introduces Trainer's Pokémon into the game. This set is due for release in Japan on January 24th 2025

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on January 5th 2025 will focus on Sprigatito, introducing its Shiny into the game. This event will 3* Catch Stardust, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Frenzy Plant to Meowscarada, as well as the move Flower Trick. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research.
There will be Timed Research to get Sprigatito with a Special Background.

A new short animated web series has been announced. This series is based on the Monpoké line, a merchandise line aimed at the younger Pokémon players and has been going on for years. The series will have 10 episodes all of around 5 minutes in length.

The latest Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Dusk Mane Necrozma & Dawn Wings Necrozma will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Necrozma after completion of the raid
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

Pokémon TCG Pocket
The latest set for Pokémon TCG Pocket has been officially revealed. This set is called Mythical Island and will release on December 17th 2024 and is a Themed Booster Pack. It will feature new Solo battles as well as over 80 new cards including Mew ex, Aerodactyl ex, Celebi ex and more.
There will also be new cosmetic items in the game including binders and display boards. There will also be a special bonus gift of 12 Pack Hourglasses each day on December 17th, 18th and 19th

Pokémon UNITE has received a small update which adds a variety of things to the game.
First, the Pokémon Tinkaton is now available to obtain. Alongside this, its Holiday Style Holowear is also now available.

The Pokémon Company have announced a new project for 2027. This project is in collaboration with Aardman, the company behind the Wallace & Gromit series and features claymation. Currently no further details have been given but we'll provide more as and when it comes

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This is the Holiday Event Part 2 and is due to run from December 22nd at 10:00 to December 27th at 20:00 local time and adds Wooloo in an outfit and Shiny Cetoddle into the game
You will get 2* Catch Experience and 50% more Raid Experience
From December 25th through January 5th, Daily Adventure Incense will last for twice as long
Alolan Rattata, Murkrow, Galarian Zigzagoon, Blitzle, Vanillite, Tynamo, Wooloo and Absol will spawn in the wild
Alolan Vulpix, Galarian Darumaka, Litwick and Cetoddle will be in 1 Star Raids
Snorlax, Banette, Zebstrika and Toucannon will be in 3 Star Raids
On December 22nd, 24th and 26th Znorlax, Blitzle, Lampent and Wooloo will spawn on Incense
On December 23rd, 25th, 27th Togetic, Galarian Zigzagoon, Foongus, Furfrou and Cetoddle will spawn on Incense
There will be Paid Timed Research to get a Glacial Lure Module, Two Incense, Encounters with Wooloo and Wooloo Jacket
The Marshtomp and Staryu Sweaters will be available in the shop
Collection Challenges will run to get Stardust, Great Balls, Ultra Balls and encounters with event Pokémon. They will be themed on Catching and Raiding

The next Pokémon Café ReMix event has been announced. This event is the return of the Teddiursa's Love of Honey event which allows players to work together to earn points to get Teddiursa. It runs from Friday, December 13th 2024

Pokémon Sleep has announced its Holiday event for 2024. This event runs from December 23rd 2024 through December 30th 2024 and features the return of Santa Hat Pikachu and the addition of Pawmi, Pawmo, Pawmot, Santa Hat Eevee, Alolan Vulpix & Alolan Ninetales into the game
This event features boosted Ice-type Pokémon as well as increased chance of Shiny Pokémon
Dream Gifts will be available on December 24th and 25th
Dream Shard Magnet S will be more effective and Candy Boost will be available
Snorlax will have Rawst Berry as its favourite Berry.
Ice-type Pokémon will give 1 extra Ingredient and have its Main Skill Level boosted by 1 and chance of it activating increased by 50%
Pokémon of different Sleep Styles will appear
On December 23rd through 28th you will get twice the amount of Dream Shards and on December 25th you will get three times the amount plus 1,225 Bonus Points. You will also get 3* the Dream Shard amount on December 29th
Eevee and Pikachu (Holiday) have a greater chance of appearing
Vulpix (Alolan Form), Ninetales (Alolan Form), Delibird, Spheal, Sealeo, Walrein, Snover, Abomasnow, Glaceon, Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot will have a greater chance of appearing
Outside the event, Pawmi will be found in Greengrass Isle, Alolan Vulpix, Alolan Ninetales, Pawmi, Pawmo and Pawmot will be in Snowdrop Tundra and Pawmi, Pawmo and Pawmot will be in Old Gold Power Plant

The Pokémon Masters EX "Three Rivals, Three Ways" event has begun a rerun. This event follows the story of Bede, Marnie & Hop picking Galar first partner Pokémon that recently hatched from Eggs. Battles then give vouchers to exchange for various items.
Alongside this, a new VarietyScout is available to get the Sync Pair of Hop & Rillaboom, Marnie & Cinderace & Bede & Inteleon. It is available until December 24th 2024

Pokémon International Championships
Registration is now available for the Pokémon International Championships in London, UK. This event runs from February 21st through 23rd 2024. Both Competitor and Spectator passes are now available to purchase, with Spectator passes being Ł25 for the weekend or Ł10 for a day. Competitor costs vary depending on the game and age bracket.
A second wave of competitor registration will go live tomorrow at 09:00 UTC.
