Pokémon HOME
The maintenance for Pokémon HOME is now over and a brand new feature has been adeed: Medals. Medals are a feature that can be used on Basic or Premium Plan which allow for you to go to special events to collect medals that can then be traded or gifted to friends.
These can be obtained at various real life locations related to Pokémon including Pokémon Center stores and participating in official Pokémon competitions.
To start, all players get given 3 of one of the sets of First Partner Pokémon medals from Kanto to Paldea in order to encourage trade and gifts

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition has been announced. This competition is the Grand Challenge 2025 IV competition and runs standard Regulation I rules. This competition will not run for players outside of Championship Point eligible regions
Registration is open from 00:00 UTC on May 1st to May 8th at 23:59 UTC while battles run from 00:00 UTC on May 9th to 23:59 UTC on May 11th.
This competition also gives 10,000 League Points to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Players enrolled in the Pokémon Championship Series can earn Championship Points for ranking.

Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Max Battle Weekend. On May 10th & 11th, Dynamax Suicune will be in Max Battles. During the event you can get up to 1600 Max Particles a day, 25% distance to get Max particles and you get 8 Max Particles from Power Spots. There will be Timed Research from May 5th to May 11th you will get free Timed Research which gives a Dynamax Grookey and rewards to prepare

Pokémon GO
The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out in Asia Pacific regions. This event is the Sweet Discoveries which introduces Applin into the game. It runs from 10:00 local time on April 24th through 20:00 local time on April 29th.

Pokémon Sleep
A new Pokémon Sleep event has been announced. This event is the Spring Festival 2025 event and runs from May 5th through May 12th, adding Happiny, Chansey and Blissey into the game.
During sleep,, one Pokémon will be guaranteed hungry and Pokémon of different sleep styles will be available
Two new Salad recipes will drop on May 1st
Greengrass Isle: Magnemite, Chansey, Ditto, Togepi, Delibird, Blissey, Swablu, Shuppet, Spheal, Happiny, Riolu, Croagunk, and Cramorant.
Cyan Beach: Chansey, Ditto, Blissey, Spheal, Happiny, Croagunk, and Cramorant.
Taupe Hollow: Ditto, Togepi, Sableye, Shuppet, Riolu, and Croagunk.
Snowdrop Tundra: Chansey, Ditto, Togepi, Delibird, Blissey, Swablu, Spheal, Happiny, Riolu, Croagunk, and Cramorant.
Lapis Lakeside: Ditto, Togepi, Swablu, and Riolu.
Old Gold Power Plant: Magnemite, Ditto, Shuppet
Happiny is a Slumbering Pokémon and Chansey & Blissey are Snoozing Pokémn. They can be found on Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach and Snowdrop Tundra

Pokémon Masters EX
Pokémon Masters EX has announced the next event. This event is adding the new Sync Pairs of Iono (Sygna Suit) and Raging Bolt and Elesa (Sygna Suit) & Thundurus. Currently no further details have been given for them but we'll add them as soon as possible

Pokémon Café ReMix has announced the next event. This event is Kingambit's Dignified Dine and adds Kingambit into the game. It is a One Minute Cooking event to earn points. It runs from April 25th 2025

Pokémon Masters EX - Ranked Damage Event
The ninth Pokémon Masters EX Ranked Damage Event is now live. This event, Super Sparring, has you face off against one of three battles in order to earn points by inflicting high amounts of damage on the opponent.

In The Pokémon Championship Series Department
Pokémon International Championships
Registration is now available for the Pokémon International Championships in New Orleans. This event runs from June 15th to June 17th 2025. Both Competitor and Spectator passes are now available to purchase, with Spectator passes being $25 for the weekend or $10 for a day. Competitor costs vary depending on the game and age bracket.
A second wave of competitor registration will go live at 14:00 UTC.

Three new episode titles have been released for coming episodes of Pokémon Mega Voltage in Japan. These episodes are due to air on May 2nd, May 9th, May 16th & May 30th respectively with a break on May 23rd
