As Pokémon Scarlet & Violet take place with you enrolling in a school, there are several classes that you can take throughout the game. These classes come in a variety of subjects including Maths, History, Art and more and have you learn about the mechanics of the game through these classes Each subject has more classes unlock as you defeat more gyms. When you have had 3 classes complete, you have to do a Midterm Exam, and when all 6 are done, you have to take a final exam. To pass the Midterm, you need 3 answers correct and to passs the final, you need 4 answers correct. Passing the Midterm earns you 5 Exp. Candy S and passing the final earns you 5 Exp. Candy M |

As you progress through the classes, you have the ability to befriend the various teachers, talking to them throughout the academy to learn about them and help them learn about themselves. At the end of each of these, you will get a special reward.
