Wardens
Wardens are a group of people in Hisui who look after the noble Pokémon and other special Pokémon. They offer the Pokémon protection and food. During your journeys, you must find them and help them or battle them.

Location: Obsidian Fieldlands Mai can be found in Obsidian Fieldlands and looks after a special Wyrdeer. In the early part of the game she will ask for your help due to an Alpha Pokémon that is acting out, but challenge you in order to see if you are worthwhile. Help her out and she will give you the Celestica Flute and will offer you the ability to ride on Wyrdeer

Location: Obsidian Fieldlands Lian can be found in the Grandtree Arena of Obsidian Fieldlands and looks after the Noble Kleavor. He is known to know a lot about rocks as well. In the early game, he will help you with the task of calming the frenzy that Kleavor has got into, but will also challenge you to a battle
Later in the game, he is called to help in order to find the Origin Ore to help make a ball that can capture Dialga/Palkia. |

Location: Crimson Mirelands Calaba is the Warden in charge of Ursaluna. Originally, when you first come to the Crimson Mirelands, she will refuse to help you and stay in Solaceon Ruins as they have been vandalised. If you find and return the Wall Fragment to her, she will thank you and accept your assistance. She will ask for you to calm the Ursaluna down in a battle, unable to catch it. Succeed and you will be able to ride on Ursaluna. She will then help you find Arezu who has gone on her own path, and stay with Arezu when Arezu is injured. She has a Bibarel with her at most times. |

Location: Crimson Mirelands Arezu is another warden who you will meet in Jubilife Village. She will ask for your help with Calaba's Ursaluna as it is starting to act out. However, this was all a trick as she wanted to calm down the Lilligant herself and injures herself in the process After you have helped calm the noble Lillegant, Arezu will go to Jubilife Village and will help offering haircuts |

Location: Cobalt Coastlands Iscan takes care of the Basculegion that lives in the nearby area. He is afraid of ghosts however, and when you are asking for help to make Basculegion Food to go to Firespit Island, he will mention that you have to find a Dusclops to do it. He is quite skittish when ghosts are involved. He has grown close to Palina |

Location: Cobalt Coastlands Palina is a member of the Pearl clan and, according to Lian, is talked about behind her back. Originally she lacked a Noble Pokémon to look after and took care of two Growlithe, one of which was the child of the Noble Pokémon who died saving the Growlithe from the water. When one of the Growlithe is captured, she asks for your help to get it back from the Miss Fortune sisters. When she arrives, the Growlithe evolves and she starts to look after the new Arcanine Noble Pokémon She has grown close to Iscan. |

Location: Coronet Highlands Ingo is like you in that he travelled back in time with little memory of the life he once lived as the head of the Battle Subway in Unova. He decided to help out and become a warden after seeing how people were in Hisui. He helps guide you through Wayward Cave after Melli tries to impede your progress and introduces you to Sneasler to allow for you to climb the mountain
After you have stopped the space-time distortion, he goes to Jubilife Village to organise battles.

Location: Coronet Highlands Melli is a member of the Diamond Clan and takes care of the Noble Pokémon, Electrode. Originally, Melli thinks the frenzy needs to not be calmed and it's a show of Electrode's strength and decides to impede your progress through the Coronet Highlands. Eventually, when you get to the Moonview Arena, Melli insists on battling you to see if you're worthy.
He later asks for your help to stop Cresselia from disrupting Electrode |

Location: Alabaster Icelands Gaeric is a member of the Pearl Clan and looks after the Noble Avalugg. He originally thinks that the frenzy doesn't need calming as Avalugg hasn't hurt anyone but agrees to letting you help calm it. He's a known climber and has tried to climb Avalugg's Legacy, a climb many deem impossible, and he eventually succeeds. He helps to create the Snow Balm from the Eternal Ice in order to calm Avalugg.

Location: Alabaster Icelands Sabi is the final warden of the Alabaster Icelands and looks after Braviary. Originally, you call upon her help to fly to the top of the Avalugg's Legacy, and she insists that you chase her, and takes you through to Snowpoint Temple where you can finally face the Braviary to gain its respect and use it as a ride Pokémon.
