New Status Conditions
As Pokémon Legends Arceus has got a new battle system, it has removed two of the status conditions that can be found in other Pokémon games and has replaced them with some new ones that follow the similar details.
Frostbite |

Frostbite is a new status condition that works in a similar manner to burns, but with a cold focus. Instead of being frozen, the effects are slightly different Effects:Each turn, the Pokémon afflicted with the Frostbite loses 1/16th of its Max HP The Pokémon's Special Attack Stat is cut by 50%. Immunities: Ice-type Pokémon Frostbite can be removed when the opponent or user uses the moves: Flame Wheel, Flare Blitz During the snow weather, Pokémon are more likely to be afflicted by Frostbite. |

Drowsy |

Drowsy is the replacement for the Sleep mechanic but features a couple of changes. Now it acts more akin to Confusion, without the hurting yourself Effects:The Pokémon is may be unable to move each turn The Pokémon receives increased damage from attacks Drowsiness can be removed when the opponent or user uses the moves: Spark, Volt Tackle, Wild Charge During the snow weather, Pokémon are more likely to miss the move when they are drowsy. |
