Honey Trees

Honey Trees also make a return throughout the Sinnoh Region. These trees are different from the usual ones and can be spotted by their brown colour. You can use the Honey item on the tree to attract Pokémon after 6 hours. There are three different kinds of trees to encounter, each with different Pokémon.

The trees that have the rarer Pokémon are random and based upon your trainer ID and Secret ID so are different for every player and only 4 of the trees in Sinnoh are capable of being a rare tree.

The standard trees and rare trees have both got different tables to bring the various encounters. The rates are as follows:

Honey Trees can be found in Route 205, Route 206, Route 207, Route 208, Route 209, Route 210, Route 211, Route 212, Route 213, Route 214, Route 215, Route 218, Route 221, Route 222, Valley Windworks, Fuego Ironworks, Eterna Forest, Floaroma Meadow

A new element to the game is the ability to check Honey Trees with the Town Map. Here, you can toggle the map to show Berry Trees, empty Honey Trees, Honey Trees which have had Honey put on them, and Honey Trees that have an encounter waiting for you having a sparkle. This allows for you to more easily check which trees you have encounters awaiting you.
