Groups

Groups, originally created in the original games, make a return. When you reach Jubilife City, a man will ask if you want to set up or join a group. If you put in the Group name, you can basically join the group. Then, if you Mix Records in the Local Union Room, all players can get in the same group. You can change the group at any time from the man in Jubilife City

With the Groups in effect, you can use it to specifically join special lobbies for things such as Super Contests, Grand Underground and the Union Roon.

There are a few added effects with the Groups. After you have Mixed Records with the Group Leader, then each member of the group will be synchronised for various events in game. This includes Swarms and the Pokémon in the Great Marsh where all players will get the same Pokémon on the same day.
