Biography

Todd is a Pokémon Photographer from Kanto who holds the motto that he can capture any Pokémon on film. Travelling throughout the world, Todd doesn't like Pokémon to pose for photos and intends to get the Pokémon caught on camera in their natural habitat. While travelling through Kanto, he managed to get a photo of the rare, previously thought extinct Pokémon Aerodactyl. This made him one of the most famous Pokémon photographers around. Not long after that he met up with Ash while on his journey to get more photos. Originally clashing due to Todd's wish to capture Pikachu on film, Todd & Ash managed to overcome their differences and became friends. After foiling a Team Rocket scheme, Todd went his seperate ways.
About 2 years later, Todd met up with Ash again when in Johto. Todd was following leads on the legendary Pokémon Articuno. With the help of Ash, Todd managed to make it to the mountain that Articuno resided on and eventually managed to capture the magnificent bird on film.

In some episodes, Todd is named as Snap, but this name was later rectified and his name stands as Todd.
