Like with Pokémon's previous iterations, this game has various people dotted around the region who have the ability to aid you in various ways. This page is to detail those characters

Effort Values

Location: Royal Avenue

Despite the fact you can now check EVs through the Pokémon's status screen, there is a person in the Battle Royal Dome who will check if you have maxed your Pokémon's Effort Values. If you have, she will give you the Effort Ribbon.

Move Reminder

Location: Mount Lanakila

Details:
The Move Reminder is possibly one of the most important Move Tutors in the game. Located in Mount Lanakila's Pokémon Center on Ula'ula Island, this character will teach your Pokémon a move that it either had as an Egg Move and has forgotten, or that was long up its Level Up list. This is handy to make sure your Pokémon has the correct moves or if you accidentally deleted a move. It's also got a new feature in Sun & Moon where it will also teach you a move that is further along it's moveset, normally learned at a higher level.

Move Deleter

Location: Hau'oli City

Details:
The Move Deleter was previously an important character in past games because he allowed for you to delete HM moves. However, as HM moves aren't in the game, he is now less useful. However, if you want to delete Pokémon's moves, perhaps to have a Last Resort moveset, then you can find him in Hau'oli City's Pokémon Center.

Hidden Power

Location: Paniola Ranch

Details:
In the Pokémon Nursery in Paniola Ranch, you will find a girl who will give you the TM for Hidden Power. After that, she will be willing to check any Pokémon in your party and inform you what type the move will be should they learn it. Hidden Power is not affected by Hyper Training.

IV Judge

Location: Battle Tree

Details:
The IV Judge has always been one of the more important characters in the game. In Sun & Moon, he will be found in the Battle Tree, however he won't judge your Pokémon. First, you need to impress him by hatching over 20 Pokémon Eggs. After that, he will provide you with the function of checking your Pokémon's IVs in the boxes. Simply press the option.
