Pokémon Sword & Shield Coverage Day 3
It's Pokémon Sword & Shield's launch day. As such, our usual discoveries are in progress. As usual, I'll be posting the main focal points here, while more in-depth details go on the discovery thread on the forums If you want to remain unspoiled, do not click the spoiler tag, nor visit the Sword & Shield section until you have your game. Don't worry as blatant spoilers will NOT be on the home page.

Pokémon GO
Galarian Weezing has been added to Pokémon GO. To coincide with the release of Pokémon Sword & Shield, immediately following Community Day, a raid hour featuring Galarian Weezing started. This is the first appearance of a Galarian form in the game. After the raid hour, it will join the Raid Bosses as a standard Raid Boss. We have updated Weezing's Pokémon GO Pokédex Page with details of this form. In addition to this, new outfits based on the player characters from Sword & Shield are now available

Pokémon GO - Community Day
Today marks the Pokémon GO Community Day. On this day, for three hours in each region, Trapinch will appear, enmass, in Pokémon GO with a chance of Shiny Chimchar appearing. During this event, when you evolve Monferno into Infernape, it will know the move Blast Burn, which is exclusive to this event. This can be done for a further 2 hours after the event. This coincides with 3* Capture Stardust and 3 hour Lure Modules. This runs at these times:

Pokémon International Championships
Today marks the second day of the third Pokémon Latin American International Championships in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and, like previous events, the event is going to be officially streamed by The Pokémon Company International across three different streams. Each game has got its own individual stream
The Stream will begin shortly before 12:00 BST / 07:00 EDT / 04:00 PDT / 22:00 AET
