Lures | |||||
Lures are a new feature brought into Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! & Let's Go, Eevee! These work in an opposite way to how Repel work in that they cause more Pokémon to spawn, similar to how abilities like Illuminate would work in prior main series titles. There are three different Lures to find in the game: Lure, Super Lure and Max Lure, just like Repels and just like Repels, they alast longer with Max Lures last for around 250 steps. However, Lures do more than just increase the spawns. Firstly, in addition to increasing the spawns, they increase the chances that Pokémon with lower chances appear such as those 1% Pokémon like Nidoqueen and Clefable, and even increase the chance that Rare Spawns will appear. |

Lures - Levels | |||||
When lures bring wild Pokémon, there's also another factor in. Lures seem to increase the level a Pokémon can be by 1 so you can have slightly stronger Pokémon than the rest of the route. So, if for example the Lure summons a Chansey in Route 6, there's a possibility that the Chansey could be Level 17 rather than the route maximum of 16 |

Lures - Increased Shiny Chances | |||||
A non-announced feature of Lures, but one that exists, is that it increases the chances of Shiny Pokémon appearing. When using a Lure, you get an increased chance of getting a Shiny Pokémon, essentially 1 extra roll to attempt to get a shiny. This works with Lure, Super Lure and Max Lure, all of which can be purchased at any PokéMart in Kanto
