Primal Pokémon
A new feature introduced in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire is Primal/Primal/Primeval Pokémon. These Pokémon seem to work in a similar manner to Mega Evolution through a process called Primal Reversion, and sends the Pokémon back to their Primal state. To do this, the Pokémon has to be holding a special item and, as soon as it is sent out in battle, it will become its Primal form. Unlike Mega Evolutions, there are no limits as to how many you can have on a team (barring limits on the amount of Primal Reversions) and you can have them on the same team as an active Mega Evolution
