Like with all Pokémon games, Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire have multiple gyms spread across the region. This page is to detail all the gyms, and the Gym Leaders and their Pokémon. While it is likely that they will match what was on the originals, this page only contains details known about the new games
Gym 1: Rustoboro City | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Location: Rustboro City Gym Leader: Roxanne Specialty: Rock-type Reward: Stone Badge, TM39 The first gym is located in Rustboro City and is a Rock-type Gym. It doesn't have much of a puzzle but rather the gym is set out like a museum and you can use various paths to bypass trainers. The trainers within the gym specialise in Rock-type Pokémon. Defeat Roxanne to earn the Stone Badge, which lets you use Cut outside of battle, and TM39, Rock Tomb.

Location: Dewford Town Gym Leader: Brawly Specialty: Fighting-type Reward: Knuckle Badge, TM08 The second gym is located in the island of Dewford Town in the south-west of the region and is a Fighting-type Gym. This gym is set up like a physical fitness gym and has you have to press a switch to illuminate a path. The moment you step off the switch, darkness envelopes the area once more. At the end, you'll face Brawly and, if you defeat him, you get the Knuckle Badge and TM08, Bulk Up

Location: Mauville City Gym Leader: Wattson Specialty: Electric-type Reward: Dynamo Badge, TM72 The third gym is located in Mauville City and is an Electric-type Gym. The puzzle is a simple one where you have to step on switches to change the direction of electrical fences in order to create passage through the gym. At the end, Wattson will give you the Dynamo Badge, which allows you to use Rock Smash, and TM72, Volt Switch

Location: Lavaridge Town Gym Leader: Flannery Specialty: Fire-type Reward: Heat Badge, TM50 The fourth gym is located in the mountainside town of Lavaridge Town and is a Fire-type Gym. The puzzle of the gym is like the original and has you have to navigate two separate floors to reach the Gym Leader. Defeat Flannery and you will receive the Heat Badge, which lets you use Strength outside of battle, and TM50, Overheat.

Location: Petalburg City Gym Leader: Norman Specialty: Normal-type Reward: Balance Badge, TM67 The fifth gym is located in Petalburg City and is a Normal-type Gym. Its leader, Norman, who happens to be your character's father, will use Pokémon such as Slaking against you. The Gym has you selecting multiple rooms, each with a different style of battle for you to undertake such as Speed or Accuracy. Defeat Norman and you will get the Balance Badge, which lets you use Surf outside of battle, and the TM67, Retaliate

Location: Fortree City Gym Leader: Winona Specialty: Flying-type Reward: Feather Badge, TM19 The sixth gym is located in Fortree City and is a Flying-type Gym. The Gym has you traversing through the path, walking through several turnstyles in order to gain access. This often requires multiple passes through in order to get through. Defeat Winona and you will get the Feather Badge, which lets you use Fly outside of battle, and the TM19, Roost

Location: Mossdeep City Gym Leader: Liza & Tate Specialty: Psychic-type Reward: Mind Badge, TM04 The seventh gym is located in Mossdeep City and is a Psychic-type Gym. The Gym has you traversing through a maze which has paths open by stepping on switches, battling trainers as you go. At the end, you will meet Liza & Tate, who are the leaders and challenge you in a Double Battle. Defeat them and you will get the Mind Badge, which lets you use Dive outside of battle, and the TM04, Calm Mind

Gym 8: Sootopolis City | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Location: Sootopolis City Gym Leader: Wallace Specialty: Water-type Reward: Rain Badge, HM05 The final gym is located in Sootopolis City and is a Water-type Gym. The Gym has you up along a floor which cracks underneath it. This is a puzzle where you have to step on each ice tile once and get to the stairs. If you step on a tile twice, it breaks and you fall to the bottom where trainers are. Defeat Wallace and you will get the Rain Badge, which lets you use Waterfall outside of battle, and HM05 Waterfall
