It has been announced that tomorrow's episode of the Japanese variety show, Oha Suta, will air a "super major announcement" about the new movie Pokémon the Movie Coco. Presently, following the delay the move is undated but prebooking of tickets for the movie opens next week in Japan. Following problems that hit during 3 different hours of Pokémon GO Fest 2020 this past Saturday, Niantic have announced the make-up event. On August 16th from 11am to 2pm local time, ticket holders will be able to get Pokémon from GO Fest again. Like GO Fest, there will be 3 habitat, rotating between Fire, Water and then Friendship every hour of the event. It also will give a Free Box of 2 Incense and 2 Remote Raid Passes to all ticket holders and will offer Rare Candy from gifts and Incense will be more efficient.

Pokémon Masters has updated to the new version. This version includes a variety of new features including the Stamina Feature and new Training Courses. Now, most stages will use stamina to play through.
This update removes the Training Area from before and replaces it with new courses. EX Courses are now in EX Plaza for Co-Op. You can take on EX Challenges by yourself
Skip Tickets can now be used to skip battles for rewards
A Player Rank has been added, the higher the rank the better the maximum stamina
Type Skills are added. When you have two or more Sync Pairs of the same type in your team at once, you gain a Type Skill which boosts all players. The Type Skill for each Sync Pair varies between each Sync Pair and their category. We're currently cataloguing them all and will add them to the respective section so keep checking back
There are new items: Move Candy Coin. Collect an amount of these to exchange for a 5 Star Move Candy
Sync Pairs now come with their Level Cap set to Level 105 minimum causing some items to be made redundanct
Mission Bingos have been adjusted and reactivated with new rewards

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on August 8th will focus on Magikarp. This event will 3* Capture Stardust and has 3 Hour Incense. It also gives the move Aqua Tail to Gyarados. It also provides a Community Day Box for 180 Coins providing 30 Ultra Balls, an Elite Charge TM, 6 Star Pieces and an Incense. There will also be a paid ticket for Special Research called "Making a Splash!". There will be Field Research to give Magikarp Candy as well. We'll bring more details as they come.

Niantic have announced a special set of Ultra Unlock bonuses. During the first day of GO Fest, there are 32 global challenges to work together to complete. For every 8 challenges completed, it unlocks an Ultra Unlock Event week with three possible events being available.
The first week is Dragon Week. In this event, Alolan Exeggutor, Horsea, Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, Bagon & Gible can be found in the wild. Horsea, Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, Bagon, Gible & Deino will be in 7km eggs. Rayquaza will be available in 5 star raids. There will be Timed Research with two Deino encounters. Shiny Deino will be available as of this event.
The second week is Enigma Week. This event has various mysterious Pokémon from space appear, adding Elgyem into the game. In the wild, you will find Jigglypuff.Staryu, Clefairy, Lunatone, Solrock, Baltoy, Bronzor & Elgyem. In 7km eggs you'll find Cleffa, Igglybuff, Lunatone, Solrock and Elgyem. In raids you'll find Bronzong, Claydol, Elgyem and Unown U, L, T, R & A. Deoxys will be in 5-star raids again, with Shiny Deoxys now being possible. Shiny Staryu is also added through this event
The third week is Unova Week. This event is focused on Unova Pokémon, introducing Bouffalant, Sewaddle, Cottonee and Emolga. In the wild and 7km eggs you'll find Sewaddle, Cottonee, Emolga and other Pokémon from Unova. Bouffalant will appear in the wild but only around New York City in the US. Various Unova Pokémon will be in raids including Genesect as a 5 Star raid with Shiny Genesect being available. Shiny Roggenrola will also be available during this event

This set contains over 70 cards including Eldegoss V< Venusaur V, Lucario V, Drednaw VMAX, Alcremie VMAX and more, and can only be purchased via special collection boxes. There are six versions of the Champion's Path Pin collection based on gyms: Turrfield, Hulbury and Motostoke come on September 25th while Ballonlea, Spikemuth and Hammerlocke come on November 13th
A Special Pin collection focused on Stow-on-Side and Circhester will be released on October 2nd
An Elite Trainer Box will be released which comes with a full art Charizard V promo, 10 booster packs and more

GO Battle League Season 3 has been announced by Niantic. This season adds a new Ultra League Premier Cup, the Flying Cup where only Flying-type Pokémon will be allowed.
Great League will run from July 27th - August 10th
Ultra League will run from August 10th to August 24th
Master League and Premier Cup will run from August 24th to September 7th
All leagues will run from September 7th - September 14th.
Finally, Season 3 will begin on September 14th at 20:00 UTC
In addition to this, some changes will be made. You'll have the following Guaranteed encounters: Pidgeot Rank 1, Galarian Zigzagoon Rank 4, Galarian Farfetch'd Rank 7, Rufflet Rank 8, Scraggy Rank 9 and Pikachu Libre at Rank 10. Premium Rewards give Rare Candy from your 4th win with the rewards lowered from 8 to 6. Rank 7 and higher players will receive an Eite Charged TM.

Infestation: This Bug-type Fast Attack now generates energy more quickly.
Hex: This Ghost-type Fast Attack now generates energy more quickly.
Powder Snow: This Ice-type Fast Attack now deals more damage.
Blizzard: This Ice-type Charged Attack now deals more damage.
Flash Cannon: This Steel-type Charged Attack now requires more energy.
Focus Blast: This Fighting-type Charged Attack now deals less damage.
Moonblast: This Fairy-Type Charged Attack now has a decreased chance of lowering your opponent’s Attack.

The Nintendo Switch title, Pokkén Tournament DX, has a free trial for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in Japan. The next update for Pokémon Masters has been announced
First there will be some Egg Events soon including a Bug Egg Event featuring Shiny Scyther and Pinsir
Summer Seasonal Scouts such as Steven & Alolan Sandslash and one more Sync Pair
Type Skills are being added. If you have a team of two or more Sync Pairs of the same type, it boosts the Sync Pairs
There will be a Legendary Event in Mid August featuring Palkia
Late August will include the update of the Champion Stadium which lets you take on Elite Four and Champion from various regions
Stamina function will be added with the next update on a trial bases. They are listening to feedback and may remove it if it is not well received. Skip Tickets will be introduced that allow you to skip the battle and just receive rewards. It also adds Player Rank which will increase as you use Stamina and allow you to use more Stamina
Moves and Passive Skills will now be automatically activated and Level Cap for first three levels removed so initial level cap for all Sync Pairs will be 100 with items required to unlock level caps removed
Some items will be made redundant and so can be exchanged in future times. As such, all players will receive 3000 Gems, a Skip Ticket, and Stamina when the update is out

This event is the second Legendary Arena event and acts in a similar manner to the Battle Villa where you go against the Cobalion and its health carries on after each battle. This event runs from July 3rd 08:00 local time to July 8th 22:00 UTC and features a Flying Pikachu, increased spawns of Flying-type Pokémon, and party hat Pokémon returning. It also adds Shiny Pidove to the game and adds Ducklett & Swanna. This event also has some Timed Research that can unlock some GO Fest spawns. The Pokémon Company have officially revealed all the cards the next set for the Pokémon Sword & Shield TCG. This subset, Legendary Beat, is being released on July 10th 2020 and features a variety of Legendary Pokémon including a new style of card known as Amazing Rares which have big effects but with strong energy costs. As such, our card listing and the associated Cardex have been updated with the details of this set with thanks to ToineLay for help with translation.

The sixth episode of the Pokémon Twilight Wings web anime series is now live. This series is a web based show separate from the main anime which focuses on the characters of the Galar Region. Niantic have announced the details of the next Pokémon GO Community Day. This features Gastly and runs on July 19th 2020 from 11am to 5pm local time and features 1/4 Egg Distance. If you evolve Haunter into Gengar during this event, you will get a Gengar knowing Shadow Punch. There will be a Special Research ticket to get the research "The Great Gastyl" costing $1. Finally there will be a Community Day Box featuring 30 Ultra Balls, an Elite Fast TM, 2 Incense and 2 Incubators

One will last for 48 hours where you use 300 Paid Gems to get a Scout and you can also select any 5 Star Sync Pair while the other lasts a week and requires 3000 Paid Gems to do 10 Scouts and you can also select a 5 Star Sync Pair.

Ranked Battle Series 5 is now live. This ruleset continues the addition of available Gigantamax Pokémon and now allows all presently available Gigantamax. This will run from July 1st at 04:00 UTC to August 30th at 23:59 UTC. With this, the rewards that you'll get after this month's Season have also been announced, removing Nature Mints and adding in Armorite Ore

Pokémon Sword & Shield - Ranked Battle Rewards
The sixth season of Pokémon Sword & Shield's Ranked Battle has come to an end and with it, the rewards for participation in battles is now live. To get them, you need to check your ranking in the Ranked Battle mode and then go to Mystery Gift > Receive via Battle Stadium. These rewards include BP and items range from nature mints up to Bottle Caps depending upon your placement. We have full details of the rewards in our Ranked Battle section

The Rankings are now live in Pokémon Sword & Shield for the recent International Friendly Online Competition. To check the results you need to go to VS and then into the Battle Stadium feature and check previous competitions. With this, once you have checked your results, you can now receive the 50 BP gift if you go to Mystery Gift and select Get Battle Stadium Rewards
