Niantic have announced a special set of Ultra Unlock bonuses. During the first day of GO Fest, there are 32 global challenges to work together to complete. For every 8 challenges completed, it unlocks an Ultra Unlock Event week with three possible events being available.
The first week is Dragon Week. In this event, Alolan Exeggutor, Horsea, Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, Bagon & Gible can be found in the wild. Horsea, Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, Bagon, Gible & Deino will be in 7km eggs. Rayquaza will be available in 5 star raids. There will be Timed Research with two Deino encounters. Shiny Deino will be available as of this event.
The second week is Enigma Week. This event has various mysterious Pokémon from space appear, adding Elgyem into the game. In the wild, you will find Jigglypuff.Staryu, Clefairy, Lunatone, Solrock, Baltoy, Bronzor & Elgyem. In 7km eggs you'll find Cleffa, Igglybuff, Lunatone, Solrock and Elgyem. In raids you'll find Bronzong, Claydol, Elgyem and Unown U, L, T, R & A. Deoxys will be in 5-star raids again, with Shiny Deoxys now being possible. Shiny Staryu is also added through this event
The third week is Unova Week. This event is focused on Unova Pokémon, introducing Bouffalant, Sewaddle, Cottonee and Emolga. In the wild and 7km eggs you'll find Sewaddle, Cottonee, Emolga and other Pokémon from Unova. Bouffalant will appear in the wild but only around New York City in the US. Various Unova Pokémon will be in raids including Genesect as a 5 Star raid with Shiny Genesect being available. Shiny Roggenrola will also be available during this event

Ahead of Pokémon GO Fest 2020 this weekend, the maximum amount of Pokémon you can store has been increased to 3500. To get to this amount, you need to purchase upgrades which increase your storage space by 50 a purchase

Niantic have announced the lineup for the habitats for Pokémon GO Fest this weekend. Every hour, the Habitat will change which will provide different Pokémon and perks. They are:
Battle
Friendship
Fire
Water
Grass

In the past week, Niantic have been teasing a puzzle to get a code for various items. This code was to provide a variety of items to a few people but was used up in mere seconds. However, Niantic put out a consolation code of 5PTHMZ3AZM5QC redeemable until July 27th at 17:00 UTC which gives 10 Ultra Balls, 10 Max Potions and 1 Sinnoh Stone

Champion's Path
A new small Pokémon Trading Card Game set, Champion's Path has been announced. This set contains over 70 cards including Eldegoss V< Venusaur V, Lucario V, Drednaw VMAX, Alcremie VMAX and more, and can only be purchased via special collection boxes. There are six versions of the Champion's Path Pin collection based on gyms: Turrfield, Hulbury and Motostoke come on September 25th while Ballonlea, Spikemuth and Hammerlocke come on November 13th
A Special Pin collection focused on Stow-on-Side and Circhester will be released on October 2nd
An Elite Trainer Box will be released which comes with a full art Charizard V promo, 10 booster packs and more
There will be Collections for Dubwool V and Hateren V on September 25th and October 23rd respectively
There will be a Champion's Path Marnie Special Collection with 2 Pokémon V Promo Cards, Eight Booster Packs and 2 pins

The special Pokémon Players Cup Week 2 Qualifiers is being streamed today. This small circuit is an official online circuit being run as the in person circuit had to be cancelled. Today is Day 1 of the Pokkén Tournament DX Qualifiers, followed by the VGC qualifiers
