Pal Park Pal Park makes a return in HeartGold & SoulSilver. Like in Diamond, Pearl & Platinum, it works in allowing you to migrate six Pokémon at a time oevr from the GBA games (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen) if you are playing on a DS or DS Lite with those games in. It is located within Fuchsia City, and you are able to use it's facilities as soon as you have access to it, with the menu option arriving in the main menu before you load the game. However, there is a difference to the HeartGold & SoulSilver Pal Park. In Diamond, Pearl & Platinum, the games limited you to being only able to transfer six Pokémon from a particular GBA game within 24 hours. This feature has been removed in HeartGold & SoulSilver so you have the ability to transfer as many Pokémon as you want in a single day, just six at a time. |

Capturing Capturing Pokémon is relatively simple. You have two options when you encounter them, to throw a Park Ball or to run. Throwing a Park Ball guarantees the capture and all of their stats, IVs and hold items of the Pokémon remain identical to how they were on the GameBoy Advance games. Each Pokémon can be found in one of the five specific areas so it's best to plan your route so you can quickly find the Pokémon to get the highest score Field Area | Forest Area | Mountain Area | Pond Area | Ocean Area |

These include the Pokémon you are transferring as well as the speed of your capture of them. Once all six Pokémon are captured, you are given your score and a prize based upon the score. The prizes are as follows;
