A New Addition to the Pokémon World, Contests help your Pokémon to become better...there are 5 different forms of contest: Widom, Intelligence, Beauty, Cuteness and Strength. The Contest is done on attacks. Here's a guide on how the contests work...each round, using my Newly Evolved Bashamo which has had no Poroks...remember Poroks raise these abilities:

After Selecting your Pokémon you will be taken into a room where your Pokémon will be tested on looks. Basically just showing off the Pokémon as seen in the picture above. Your Pokémon will recieve a certain amount of hearts for this

Now Its Time To Show off the cool moves. Each move has a certain type like Wisdom and give 3 hearts and sometimes take some off others. You pick the attack and wait for all 4 contestants to go through. The winner of round 2 is then decided by amount of hearts

Another attack time, I suggest if you are in last place using an attack that takes away hearts from the others. It works the same way as round two

The Final Round. Use the most powerful attack you can to try an insure victory. Remember, try to keep to the set contest like Wisdom

The Winner is then decided based on the amount of hearts recieved. Unfortunately my bashamo didnt do so well
