Genius Sonority are a company that was set up by Nintendo for developing Pokémon games, specifically for home consoles but moving onto Pokémon in general. It currently is owned by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company but is not relegated to only making Pokémon titles. Their first Pokémon game was the title Pokémon Colosseum, the spiritual successor to Pokémon Stadium but the first 3D Pokémon RPG. Since 2007, however they have shifted to making the Pokémon puzzle titles
