Goldenrod Underground contains a mixture of floors. Initially, there are a variety of shops, which change depending on the day; Barber shops on every day but Monday, where the Pokémon get an increase in happiness and Beauty, as well as a Herb Shop on weekends and the Bargain Shop on Mondays. On the lower levels, Team Rocket is found, with various trainers needing defeating in order to progress. The underground leads to the Department Store's basement.
