Mauville City is located in the center of town and features some of the biggest changes of any city in Hoenn. Mauville City is now a several floor indoor city, with lots of things to do and people to speak to. In the mdidle is Square Tower, a small tower that shows the relationship of the city with Lumiose City in Kalos, which also lights up to show if there are any issues in New Mauville. There are numerous stores including Rydel's Cycles which gives you the bicycles.

Mauville Hills
Mauville Hills is the accomodation part of the city located up an elevator that you gain access to when helping Wattson with the New Mauville issue. There are numerous characters you can interact with in the apartments including ones that will battle you.

Battle Institute:
Located in the eastern part of town is an area where you can test out your various Pokémon teams through seven consecutive battles. You then get ranked based on your performance. Click here for more details

Inverse Battles:
Located in the eastern part of town is an area where you can test out your various Pokémon in an Inverse Battle. Click here for more details

Move Tutors:
Located in the eastern part are two stalls where you can teach your Pokémon some special moves. First is one who will teach the Pledge moves to any Starter Pokémon and second is one who will teach the Elemental Beams to any fully evolved Starter Pokémon

Food Court:
Located in the south part of town is the Food Court. Here, you can participate in daily battles to protect your right to sit down when you have your meal. You get special rewards for how well you do in it.

Crooner's Café:
Located in the south-western part of town is Crooner's Café. Inside you will find a man who will teach your Meloetta or Keldeo their moves that allow for them to change form.

Ribbon Shop:
On the western side of the complex, you will find a shop that will sell some expensive ribbons to you. These ribbons are the Gorgeous Ribbon, Royal Ribbon & Gorgeous Royal Ribbon.

Gym:
Located in the absolute north of the town is the Pokémon Gym which is an Electric-type Gym. The puzzle is a simple one where you have to step on switches to change the direction of electrical fences in order to create passage through the gym. At the end, Wattson will give you the Dynamo Badge, which allows you to use Rock Smash, and TM72, Volt Switch
