Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Coverage Day 1
The Pokémon Scarlet & Violet The Teal Mask patch is now live and our copy is downloading. As such, our usual discoveries shall begin. As usual, I'll be posting the main focal points here, while more in-depth details go on the discovery thread on the forums If you want to remain unspoiled, do not click the spoiler tag, nor visit the Scarlet & Violet section until you have your game. Don't worry as blatant spoilers will NOT be on the home page.

In The Games Department
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 2.0.1
Ahead of its release shortly, we have details on the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet 2.0.1 patch notes containing the details of what they have changed
First the patch will add a variety of returning and new Pokémon that all players will be able to trade, transfer and battle with regardless of if they bought the DLC
The top direction in the minimap can be set to always fix north by pressing the Right Stick twice on the map screen
Camera related settings have been added to the Settings to adjust the field camera
You can now signal Pokémon walking on the field by pushing the L stick to stop them moving and photos can be taken with the A button. You can also play music with ZL/ZR in the camera app and share photos
With the TM Machines at Pokémon Centers, you can add a filter to only display TMs that your Pokémon can learn
Bug fixes have been made including correction of the text for Dire Claw, Stone Axe and Ceaseless Edge mentioning Critical Hits
Fixed an issue where the Itemfinder mark would not attach to Pokémon
Fixed an issue where Titan Mark Pokémon may not appear after being defeated if you didn't catch them
Adjustments made to the display of Pokémon icons in boxes

Pokémon Café ReMix
The next Pokémon Café ReMix One Minute Cooking event has been announced. This event is focused on the Pokémon Greedent, adding its Baker outfit into the game. It runs from September 15th 2023
