Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Limited Research Day event. This event will run this September 22nd from 14:00 to 17:00 local time and focuses on Passimian and Oranguru. It adds Shiny Passimian into the game
During the event, Mankey, Aipom, Slakoth, Chimchar and Grookey will be in the Wild
There will be Field Research for Oranguru and Passimian
There will be paid Timed Research to get more encounters with Oranguru and Passimian

Pokémon Café ReMix has announced the next event. This event is Cleffa's Moon Viewing Party event and is a outdoor tea party slow cooking event focused on which adds Cleffa's Fluffy Star outfit into the game. This event runs from Friday, September 13th 2024.

A special animation has been released for Pokémon Sleep to celebrate Good Sleep Day which runs from September 17th which showcases various Clefairy arriving on Greengrass Isle alongside Shiny Clefairy. To commemorate this, starting September 17th, you will be able to get a Clefairy Incense for free

Continuing the Pokémon Local Acts campaign, where various Pokémon are considered ambassadors for areas in Japan for the purpose of tourism, one new PokéLids have been added, this time in the area of Kyoto. To celebrate the addition of the Nintendo Museum in the prefecture, this one PokéLid has been added which features Pikachu alongside a Game Boy. This will be found on the premises of the Nintendo Museum after it opens on October 2nd 2024
