Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The first Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Mass Outbreak event has begun. This event causes Mass Outbreaks of Clefairy to spawn throughout both Paldea and Kitakami with the Clefairy having a chance of having the Upbeat Mark. This event runs until 23:59 UTC on October 1st 2023

Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Detective Pikachu Returns collaboration event and is due to run from October 5th at 10:00 to October 8th at 20:00 local time and adds Cowboy Hat Slowpoke & Shiny Detective Pikachu into the game
Detective Pikachu, Growlithe, Hat Slowpoke, Alolan Exeggutor, Magikarp, Xatu, Bellossom, Lotad, Chimecho, Bronzor, Ducklett, Cutiefly and Falinks will spawn in the wild
Sudowoodo, Snivy and Rowlet will be in Field Research
There will be a Collection Challenge through Field Research
You will get Detective Pikachu once per day in Snapshots
You will get 2* Experience for Spinning PokéStops
There will be Timed Research to complete tasks to get Pikachu in a Detective Hat

Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced a special ticket for October, the Ticket of Treats. This will run from October 1st through October 31st and provides a variety of bonuses for events throughout Octobeor. It costs $5 and gives a total of four unique Timed Research
All ticket holders will get 50% more experience and Stardust for the first catch of the day
From October 5th, Timed Research will appear to celebrate Guzzlord's return to 5 Star Raids providing 3 Premium Battle Passes and more
On October 12th, new Timed Research arrives in time for the Harvest Festival including One Mossy Lure and encounters with Large Size & Super Size Pumpkaboo
From October 19th for Halloween Event Part 1 you'll get Timed Research which features two incubators and encounters with Phantump
Finally on October 26th there will be Timed Research for Halloween Event Part 2 that gives 3 Silver Pinap Berries, 2 Super Incubators, 2 Rare Candy and encounters with Misdreavus and Phantump

Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project Voltage 18 Types 18 Songs - Volt Tackle
The first of the Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project Voltage songs has been released. This is Volt Tackle by DECO*27 and comes with a music video showcasing Hatsune Miku and her Pikachu. T his song samples a lot of Pokémon themes and sound effects.
We have added details to our Project Voltage section including a special page on this song, Volt Tackle, including an embed.

Detective Pikachu Returns
A new set of Pokémon icons is coming to the Nintendo Switch Online service from now until October 27th. This range is focused around the game Detective Pikachu Returns and features icons of the titular Detective Pikachu and various borders and backgrounds. Wave 1 is live now until October 6th

Pokémon Masters EX - Story Event
The "Together in an Unknown Land!" Story Event has begun in Pokémon Masters EX. This event tells the story of Akari and Rei appearing in Pasio
A Poké Fair Scout is also now available to get the Sync Pair of Akari & Hisuian Samurott. The scout runs until October 16th

Alongside this, the new Skill Gears are now available in the game with special Training stages and item exchanges to get elements for them. A new Get the New Gear! Event is live to give you some Gear and get you started

Detective Pikachu Returns
The preload for Detective Pikachu Returns is starting to roll out. The game requires 8.9GB to download and store on the Nintendo Switch console. Once downloaded, the game will unlock at midnight on the time of the eShop you downloaded it on October 6th 2023
