Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Winter Holiday Part 1 event and is due to run from December 18th at 10:00 to December 25th at 10:00 local time and adds Cetoddle & Cetitan into the game alongside new outfits for Pikachu
Playerrs can choose the bonus between Double Catch Experience or Double Catch Stardust
There will be Timed Research
Pikachu, Alolan Sandshrew, Seel, Eevee in a Holiday Hat, Swinub, Stantler in a Holiday Outfit, Spheal in a Holiday outfit, Galarian Darumaka, Cryogonal, Bergmite, Cetoddle, Sneasel, Piloswine and Amaura are spawning in the wild
Pikachu, Alolan Sandshrew, Spheal, Crabrawler, Cetoddle will be in 1 Star Raids. Pikachu will have a higher chance of being Shiny if you do it in Raids
Dewgong, Lapras, Stantler and Glaceon will be in 3 Star Raids
Eevee, Smoochum, Galarian Darumaka anad Amaura will be in 2km Eggs with Eevee having a higher chance of being Shiny
Pikachu, Alolan Sandshrew, Shellder, Jynx, Lapras, Delibird, Spheal, Snover, Glaceon, Vanillite, Cubchoo, Crabrawler, Abomsnow Mega Energy and Glalie Mega Energy will be in Field Researh
There will be two tickets for Paid Timed Research
Ticket 1, costing equivalent of $2 will given you two bits of Timed Research, one for Part 1 and one for Part 2. The first gives encounters with Spheal, Cryogonal and Psyduck in a holiday outfit. The second in Part 2 gives more encounters including Psyduck and Cubchoo,br />
Ticket 2, costing the equivalent of $5, gives an avatar pose as well as 2* Catch Candy and various encounters including Pikachu, Delibird and Psyduck

Niantic have announced the Pokémon GO Wyrdeer Raid Day event will run December 23rd from 14:00 to 17:00 local time, adding Wyrdeer and its Shiny to the game
During the event, Wyrdeer will appear in 3 Star Raids with a higher chance of being Shiny
Players will get up to 5 additional free daily Raid Passes from spinning Gym PokéStops during the event
Alongside this, the annual Winter Wonderland event has been announced, running from December 23rd 10:00 local time to December 24th 20:00 local time. During this event, there will be a Collection Challenge to catch and evolve Pokémon to get an encounter with Wyrdeer and a trade focused one to get an encounter with Holiday Psyduck
You will also be able to make 5 Special Trades a day and earn 2* Experience for winning raids

Pokémon Masters EX - Story Event
The "Focus on the Shining Shot" Story Event has begun in Pokémon Masters EX. This event is the annual Winter event and features the story of Lear holding a Photo Contest during Pasio's Winter celebrations. It runs until December 27th
To tie in with that, a new Seasonal Scout is available to get the Sync Pair of Viola (Holidays 2023) & Vivillon Icy Snow Pattern

Pokémon Sleep his to undergo maintenance from 01:00 UTC on December 14th through 05:30 UTC on December 14th. With this, a new update will go live which contains a variety of fixes and the addition of content for the Holiday event
It will add a Daily Gift to the general shop for free with random items
Makes it easier to pick up berries and ingredients
Increases item and ingredient capacity maximum to 600
Made it so Research Community collaborations can only go up by 1 a day
Adjusts the amount of Candy you get for releasing a Pokémon from 5 to 7 or 10 based on how fully evoled it is such as Ivysaur giving 7 and VEnusaur giving 10
Increases effectiveness of the Dream Shard Magnet S Skill
Increases effectiveness of the Extra Helpful S skill
Alters weekly missions that give you Incense to make it easier<

Pokémon UNITE has received a small balance patch. This patch features several adjustments to various Pokémon, specifically alterations to Meowscarada and a variety of bug fixes for other Pokémon. We have updated our Patch Section with all the current values
Alongside this, the Parade Panic mode has made a return

PokéPark Kanto
Following the reveal of PokéPark Kanto last night, new trademarks have been published by Nintendo in Europe. These trademarks are for PokéPark Kalos and PokéPark Paldea. Currently it's unclear if these trademarks will be used for anything or if they are just placeholder but we'll provide further details as they come
Edit: The trademark for PokéPark Galar has also been filed in the UK
