Pokémon Sword & Shield
The next online competition has begun. This competition, the Jump! Magikarp is a Double Battle competition that only allows for you to use only two Pokémon in battle, one needing to be Magikarp. No Legendary Pokémon can be used. All players who enter get 50 BP
Battles will run from July 22nd 00:00 UTC to July 24th 23:59 UTC.

Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Seattle is starting today. This event runs all weekend and features the addition of Buzzwole for players in Seattle, alongside new Special Research, Shiny Combee & Panpour and more.
In addition to this, a global tie-in event is happening globally until 20:00 UTC on July 24th featuring a Collection Challenge and spawns of Pokémon from GO Fest 2022 Seattle

Edit @ 20:52: Following the errors that occured with the Facebook Login today, Niantic have put out a note of compensation for players who had a Pokémon GO Fest Seattle ticket for today. The City Experience will be extended for two hours from 7pm to 9pm with a bonus session from 9am to 11am tomorrow morning. A free bundle will also be available for players containing a Star Piece, a Lucky Egg and a Super Incubator

Pokémon Trading Card Game: Online Illustration Exhibition
The Pokémon Company have announced the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Online Illustration Exhibition. This will run from August 10th through to October 22nd and allows for people to look at a variety of Pokémon Card artwork amongst three themes Life, History, and Artist. This will give a variety of looks at cards from over 50 different artists.
There will also be a special exhibition of three different cards designed by Taku Wada. Taku Wada previously worked at Nintendo on games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. These cards will be shown on August 23rd, September 7th and September 22nd

The fourth episode of PokéToon is now available on the Pokémon TV app. This episode, Help! I’ve Turned into a Gengar, is a story about a young girl who turns into a Gengar one night when she and her friends enter the school. New episodes will continue to air weekly.
