Niantic have announced some new details for Pokémon GO Fest 2021
Players will be able to do 6 Special Trades a day from July 16th at 20:00 UTC to July 19th at 06:00 UTC
Pikachu with a Meloetta hat will be in the wild on both days, with its shiny variant
On the 17th, Galarian Ponyta & Zigzagoon will appear in raids with Meloetta hats, and have a chance to be shiny. Deino will also be in 1 star raids
Galarian Weezing, Hitmontop and Cranidos will be in 3 star raids on July 17th
Gardevoir will learn Synchronoise when evolved or caught during the event hours
Flygon will learn Earth Power when evolved or caught during the event hours
Pikachu Rock Star or Pikachu Pop Star will be available via GO Snapshot Photobomb on July 17th after completing your research depending on which path you take in the Special Research
Gardevoir in a Meloetta hat or Flygon in a Meloetta hat will be available via GO Snapshot Photobomb on July 18th after completing your research depending on which path you take in the Special Research. They will also appear in Special Research and be attracted to Incense. The other Pokémon will also spawn in Incense during the event but will not have the hat if they weren't chosen
Players will receive a special pose depending on which path they take: Pikachu Rock Star or Pikachu Pop Star
GO Fest avatar items will be available starting 18:00 UTC on July 16th including Whismur, Loudred and Exploud Shirts, face stickers and a guitar case backpack
A Meloetta shirt will be available in the Special Research
Everyone will also receive a free GO Fest 2021 Shirt avatar item from 18:00 UTC on July 6th
There will be Ultra Unlocks through a Global Challenge Arena. Starting at 20:00 UTC on July 16th, the habitats will rotate globally and a challenge will be running allowing all trainers to work together to complete the challenge. If they do, a bonus will run for the rest of the hour.
If 8 Challenges are completed, the Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time event will be unlocked. This event runs from July 23rd at 10:00 local time to August 3rd at 20:00 local time and features Pokémon from various eras
If 16 Challenges are completed, the Ultra Unlock Part 2: Space event will be unlocked. This event runs from August 6th at 10:00 local time to August 17th at 20:00 local time and features Pokémon from various places
if 24 Challenges are completed, the Ultra Unlock Part 3: ??? event will be unlocked. This event runs from August 20th at 10:00 local time to August 31st at 20:00 local time and features some abnormal events. More detials on the Ultra Unlocks will come at a later point

The Rock-type Gear Event has begun its repeat run in Pokémon Masters EX. This event is a Co-Op Stage focused event that has you play stages to earn rewards to get 3 Star Rock Gear
