Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Lunar New Year event and features an increase of Pokémon of the colour Red. It runs from February 9th 10:00 local time to February 14th 13:00 local time.
This event features increased spawns of Krabby, Goldeen, Magmar, Magikarp, Miltank, Meditite, Tepig and more, including Gyarados which has a chance of being Shiny
Rattata, Ekans, Mankey, Ponyta, Mareep, Houndour, Miltank, Torchic, Bagon, Buneary, Tepig & Litleo will be in 5km Eggs
There will be Field Research tasks exclusive to the event to give encounters with Meowth, Alolan Meowth, Galarian Meowth, Meditite and Miltank
Meditite, Carvanha, Duskull, Skorupi and Darumaka are in 1 Star raids while Miltank, Octillery, Blaziken, Camerupt and Absol will appear in 3 star raids.
Mega Gyarados is introduced in this event and will appear in raids alongside Mega Pidgeot and Mega Ampharos until February 20th
There will be a Timed Research that gives an encounter with Tauros
During this event, there will be various bonuses:
Gifts will contain more Poké Ball
You're more likely to become Lucky Friends with a player
Lucky Trades are more likely to happen at random
Trading distance is increased to 40km from February 8th at 21:00 UTC to February 15th at 21:00 UTC

The Team GO Rocket Celebration Event is starting to run causing many Poison-type Pokémon to spawn in increased numbers with boosted appearances of Team GO Rocket. This event runs from 20:00 local time to February 7th 2021. It also includes a new Timed Research. In addition to this, the Raid Battles have new bosses.

Niantic have confirmed that Suicune is to have a Raid Hour event in Pokémon GO on Monday February 8th from 18:00 to 19:00 local time. This is to make sure Suicune has a Raid Hour event it would normally miss as it goes live on Thursday February 4th at 10:00 local time until Tuesday February 9th at 10:00 local time.

Niantic have started allowing players to select the Group they wish to be in during the Pokémon GO Kanto Tour event on February 20th if those players have the latest version of the game, which is rolling out now. When you have selected a group, during the event, you will get certain spawns that the other side won't get, to encourage trading with other players

Pokémon Masters
The next Egg Event has been officially announced for Pokémon Masters EX. This event runs from February 4th 2021 and allows for players to get eggs of various Fighting, Grass and Rock-type Pokémon to make Sync Pairs. You can get the Sync Pairs of Main Character & Machop, Bellsprout, Geodude, Mankey and Aerodactyl with Shiny varaints of Machop, Aerodactyl and Bellsprout being available
