Niantic have started to tease a new kind of Red Egg in Pokémon GO on the social media channels. This egg is surrounded by the mysterious shadow aura indicating a tie in with Team GO Rocket. We'll provide full details as they come so be sure to keep checking back
Niantic have revealed this as the next event, running from now until October 20th at 05:00 UTC. Starting with this event, you can find Strange Eggs by defeating GO Rocket Leaders. These Eggs can hatch into Pokémon such as Larvitar, Scraggy, Trubbish and Vullaby and require 12k to hatch. During this event, Egg distance will remain at a quarter distance. This event adds Sandile, Vullaby and Pawniard to the game
With this event, Posion & Dark-types will appear more in the wild, and there will be new Special Research

GO Battle League Season 3 has now shifted to the Master League format. This format will run for two weeks until October 26th 2020 at 20:00 UTC. Both standard Cup and Premier Cup, which bans Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, can be used
