The Throwback Challenge 2020 Johto event is starting to roll out for Pokémon GO players. From 13:00 local time today to 13:00 local time on May 15th, Johto Pokémon will spawn in increased numbers, have increased raids and so forth. There's also a Pikachu in an Umbreon hat spawning in the game and unique Throwback Timed Special Research which results in a Ho-Oh encounter. This research needs to be completed to get the Special Research featuring Galarian Form Pokémon in June

The Limited Research Day event featuring Snubbull is now starting to run in. This event runs from 08:00 local time tomorrow, May 9th until 22:00 local time on May 9th and features special Timed Research focusing on Snubbull, providing 50 different tasks and chances to get Snubbull. As such, we're starting to catalogue much of the events so keep checking our page for full details
A special Event Box is also now live. For 480 Coins you'll get 3 Super Incubators, 2 Star Piece, 3 Incense and 10 Pinap Berries

Pokémon Masters
The next features have been announced for Pokémon Masters for May and June.
The next Legendary event will focus on Entei in a new feature, a Legendary Arena which works like the Battle Villa and lets you use multiple Sync Pairs
They have announced they will reduce the time needed to get items
They are to reoganise battles that reward items
There is to be a set number of playable battles a day. This limit doesn't apply to the Battle Villa and co-op. To balance this out, more items will be given in each stage

The Pokémon GO Safari Zone event is now starting to run for people who kept their ticket for Safari Zone Philadelphia and will run at the local time that matches the event ticket. This event features various spawns of Pokémon including a Safari Hat Pikachu and Shiny Voltorb. We'll be compiling all the event over the coming day in our section
In The Anime Department
Pokémon Journeys - News
Some new episode titles for the upcoming anime series have been released through Japanese TV Guides. These episodes currently lack an airdate due to the show being on hiatus due to the global conditions. The first episode is in two parts. The first features Goh entering a Magikarp High Jump Competition while the second part features Ash & Goh going to an island filled with Slowpoke. The second episode features Ash & Goh going to Galar to witness a match between Leon and the Hammerlocke Gym Leader, Raihan. The third episode features Ash & Goh encounter an upset Sobble. The final episode features Yamper getting jealous of some of a Pidove being looked after at Cerise's laboratory
