Pokémon Sword & Shield
The Wild Area Event has now shifted in Pokémon Sword & Shield. With this, the Water and Ground-type Pokémon have left the boosted raids and with this, various Grass and Electric Pokémon have been added including Gigantamax Toxtricity, Gigantamax Flapple and Gigantamax Appletun. We're currently compiling all details of the event so be sure to keep checking back. This event runs until September 30th at 23:59 UTC

Pokémon Sword & Shield - VGC Ruleset
Ranked Battle Series 6 is now live. This ruleset contains the exclusion of 16 of the top used Pokémon that were used during the July season. This will run from September 1st at 04:00 UTC to September 30th at 23:59 UTC. With this, the rewards that you'll get after this month's Season have also been announce

Pokémon Sword & Shield - Ranked Battle Rewards
The eighth season of Pokémon Sword & Shield's Ranked Battle has come to an end and with it, the rewards for participation in battles is now live. To get them, you need to check your ranking in the Ranked Battle mode and then go to Mystery Gift > Receive via Battle Stadium. These rewards include BP and items range from Armorite Ore up to Bottle Caps depending upon your placement. We have full details of the rewards in our Ranked Battle section

Pokémon GO
The Mega Raid Challenge event has begun in Pokémon GO. From 08:00 local time today until September 7th at 22:00 local time, certain Pokémon will have increased amount of spawns. In addition to that, Mega Raid Battles will appear more frequently and if 2 million raids are completed, then Mega Pidgeot will be added to the game

The Research Breakthrough Pokémon have shifted. From now until October 1st at 20:00 UTC, when you unlock a Research Breakthrough reward, the Pokémon will be Alolan Raichu and, with this, Field Research is shifting

DeNA have started an official poll to decide who will be the next 6 Star EX Sync Pair. Until September 7th at 05:59 UTC, you'll be able to put in a vote using the hashtag of the character with EX at the end in response to the official tweets. The choices are: Brock, Misty, Barry, Flannery, Erika, Skyla, Korrina, Norman, Pryce, Iris, Hapu, Sygna Suit Brock, Hau, Flint, Clair, Viola, Koga, Nanu, Acerola, Cheren, Calem or Valerie
