Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Shiny Zygarde Event
For those of you in Europe and Oceania, the fifth month of the Legendary Pokémon Year events have begun. From now until June 22nd 2018, players will be able to get a Shiny Zygarde in all currently available Generation VII games simply by going through Mystery Gift > Get Via Internet. This distribution differs between Sun & Moon and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon with the Pokémon being Level 60 in Sun & Moon and Level 100 holding a Gold Bottle Cap in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Our Event Database has full details of this event.
This event is a Zygarde with Aura Break, but it can be made to have Power Construct by having 50 cells in your Zygarde Cube and taking it to Route 16 and assembling it. Do not separate it as it will lose its shiny and act like it has been released.

Japanese TV Guides have revealed new episode titles for upcoming episodes of the anime. These episodes are due to air on June 14th & June 21st respectively. The first features a Minior landing near the Pokémon School while the second features Lillie encountering an Alolan Sandshrew while trying to return to Melemele Island.

Nintendo have also revealed that more core series games are coming. These games are due for release in 2019 on the Nintendo Switch are currently without names but the promise of their existence is the only thing known. Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Pokémon Let's Go Eevee
The Nintendo Switch games have finally been announced. These games a Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let's Go Eevee and are set in the original Kanto Region as a remake of Pokémon Yellow in the first new release in the region since 2009's HeartGold & SoulSilver. These games feature co-op locally as well as a new device like a Poké Ball called the Poké Ball Plus that lets you take your Pokémon around with you in Pokémon GO and be used as a GO Plus. You can also send your Pokémon from GO to Pokémon GO Park to get them in Pokémon Let's GO Pikachu & Eevee. They can be played with just one Joy-Con and capture is done by flicking the Joy-Con like Pokémon GO. Your partner Pikachu & Eevee can be customised. It is out November 16th

Pokémon Quest
A new spin-off game has been announced. This game is Pokémon Quest and is coming to the Nintendo Switch and mobile. It's a free to start download title which starts with the Kanto Pokémon and is controlled with the Switch's touchscreen. You decide what characteristics your Pokémon have using items called Power Stones to strengthen your team. It takes place on Tumblecube Island and explore with teams of 3 Pokémon to gather treasure and recruit more Pokémon. It is due out later today on the Nintendo Switch and in late June on mobile devices

Finishing an expedition gives you experience. Power Stones are important items that you can give your Pokémon to make them stronger.
Power charms when you put a power stone into a socket on a power charm it can rais Pokémons hp or atk. the goal of the game is to find precious loot that lies hidden on the island as you progress on your expeditions
First expedition Pokémon – Pidgey, Ratata, strong Pokémon Meowth waves 3
Cooking attracts Pokémon:
Red – tiny mushroom
Blue – bulk berry
Yellow – apricorn
PM tickets speed things up. Selecting Pokémon that come for food to add them to Pokédex. Yellow bar with number in it is the total of your teams members hp and attack is teams overall strength.
Each spot where you can head out on an expedition the strenght of enemies will be displayed. This should give you an idea of what your teams strength should be.
Pokémon with the same type as the bonus type for the area youre going to will have higher hp and atk than normal making them stronger

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Battle Competition
Details for the next Battle Competition have been announced. This is the 2018 International Challenge June competition. This is a Double Battle competition using standard VGC rules, with players being able to earn CP to go towards qualification for the World Championships.. All Pokémon will be raised to Level 50 for the duration of the competition. Registration runs from June 7th 2018 to June 14th 2018. Battles will run from June 15th through June 17th. All entrants will get the 50 Battle Points.
In addition to this, this allows players to earn Championship Points to go towards a place in the World Championships

Pokémon Shuffle has begun Week 16 of its event cycle. This cycle has the following stages that will run for a week

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Battle Competition
Battles for the next Battle Competition have begun. This is the Ultra No Holds Barred competition. This is a Single Battle competition where players can only use Pokémon from the National Pokédex and prohibits use of Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, Solgaleo, and Lunala. All Pokémon will be raised to Level 100 for the duration of the competition. Battles will run from May 25th through May 27th. All entrants will get the 50 Battle Points.

A new update has started to roll out for Pokémon GO players on Android and iOS. This update provides the ability to use items on a Pokémon's screen for healing or Rare Candy directly. It also gives proper Error Messages rather than just listing the word Error, as well as various bug fixes and preparations for the Alola Form Pokémon

The next special Group Match has been announced on Pokkén Tournament DX. From June 1st through June 3rd you can participate in the "True Sheer Cold" Group Match. This cup is a Basic Battle competition, once again on a Fixed Battle Arena. Participating in this brings a special title reward based on Suicune, and if you place highly you'll get other titles based on your placement.

It has been confirmed that Shiny Zygarde is to be distributed next month as part of the Year of Legendary Pokémon. In the United States, it will be obtained through serial code at Gamestop and EB Games in Canada from June 1st through June 24th while in Europe and Australia it will be available over the Nintendo Network from June 1st through June 22nd. This Zygarde has Aura Break but can get Power Construct when combining with other Zygarde Cells as long as you don't disassemble the Shiny Zygarde. Today marks the Pokémon GO Community Day. On this day, for three hours in each region, Charmander will appear, enmass, in Pokémon GO. During this event, when you evolve a Charmeleon into Charizard, it will know the move Blast Burn, which is exclusive to this event. This coincides with triple experience with captures and Lure Modules running for 3 hours. This runs at these times:

Participating in this brings a special title reward based on Darkrai, and if you place highly you'll get other titles based on your placement.

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Battle Competition
Registration for the next Battle Competition has begun. This is the Ultra No Holds Barred competition. This is a Single Battle competition where players can only use Pokémon from the National Pokédex and prohibits use of Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, Solgaleo, and Lunala. All Pokémon will be raised to Level 100 for the duration of the competition. Registration runs from May 17th 2018 to May 24th 2018. Battles will run from May 25th through May 27th. All entrants will get the 50 Battle Points.

Niantic have confirmed that when using the AR+ features on catching a Pokémon, the Pokémon are now set to never actually flee when you're taking a photograph. Previously, the Pokémon could flee but from recently, the Pokémon will not flee allowing for the Pokémon to be photographed from close up and any capture bonuses be done.

Pokémon - Unused Designs
In Japan this week, a special manga based on the life of Pokémon creator, Satoshi Tajiri, was put on sale. In this manga, as shared by Game Freak staff James Turner, and Twitter user Kyle, there are some early images of various Pokémon including a few that never got past the initial prototype stage of Pokémon Red & Green. These include an Elephant Deer, Crocodile and Shark Pokémon which hadn't been officially seen before.

Pokémon Let's Go! Pikachu - Unconfirmed Rumour
Following the alleged leaks yesterday, the website domains for Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let's Go Eevee got registered by a company that has, in the past, been used by Nintendo to register domains, such as when Pokémon Sun & Moon were revealed in February 2016. At present, this doesn't further confirm these names as the game titles but does add more credence to it. We'll provide more details as they come so be sure to keep checking back

Over the past few days, the rumours have been in full swing across the Internet about the upcoming Nintendo Switch Pokémon titles. However, earlier today a logo went up on various messageboards around the Internet which showcases the name: Pokémon Let's Go! Pikachu which matches up with various pieces of alleged leaked information that have come up for the game. The seventh Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Global Mission has finished in success. This Global Mission's theme was to earn BP at the Battle Tree and was a success at 2,292,635 BP won. It has been confirmed by Niantic through the Japanese YouTuber GameWith, that during the Community Day on May 19th 2018, if you evolve Charmeleon into Charizard during the three hour window, your Charizard will know Blast Burn, a move only learnable in the main games by the fully evolved Fire-type Starter Pokémon. The Community Day runs at the following times:

The current running event in Pokémon GO, the Battle Showdown 2018 event, is due to end on Monday. Until 20:00 UTC on Monday, May 14th, Fighting-type Pokémon appear in increased spawns. In addition to this, you'll receive 2x XP in Gym and Raid Battles and 3000 Stardust and a Rare Candy guaranteed. You also receive double points for all gym actions.

Tickets for this year's Pokémon GO Fest, being held in Chicago on July 14th and 15th, are now available to buy on Niantic's official website. For $20, you'll get a day pass to get access to the event which includes a 1.8 mile walk which contains a myriad of different Pokémon and allows for you to use Special Research. You can only go one of the two days and you need to include your username in the game to register for it.

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Special Battle Season 10
The Special Battle rules for Season 10 have been revealed. Season 10 will run from May 15th to July 10th 2018 and runs on Sun & Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, with rankings separate to eachother. This ruleset is rather standard but runs Inverse Battles, meaning that the type chart is inverted, so Normal-types are super effective against Ghost-types and so forth
Battle type: Double Battle - Inverse Battles
Pokémon Restrictions: National Pokédex. No Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Magearna, and Marshadow.
The other standard rules apply, including all set to Level 50 if above that, and you choose 4 Pokémon out of your 6, and you cannot have two Pokémon holding the same hold item. Battles have a 10 minute duration, with turns having a 60 second timer.

Niantic have announced a collection of real life events.
Pokémon GO Fest returns to Chicago from July 14 to July 15. The event will be held in Lincoln Park with a walking course. Single day passes cost $20 and will go on sale on May 11th. It is said to be bringing with it a unique and immersive gameplay experience not seen in any of Niantic’s previous live events
In Dortmund, Germany, a Safari Zone event will run on June 30th to July 1st in the Westfalenpark. It is open for all for free
There will be a Safari Zone event in Yokosuka, Japan later this Summer and more events held across Asia as the year progresses
The June and July Pokémon GO Community Days are on June 16th 2018 and July 8th 2018. The starring Pokémon are currently to be announced
Those who can't attend the events will also be able to play for other benefits. We'll bring more on all the events and their special contents for the game as and when they come so be sure to keep checking back

Japanese TV Guides have revealed new episode titles for upcoming episodes of the anime. These episodes are due to air on May 17th, May 24th, May 31st and June 7th respectively. The first features Ash training for his journey and meeting Tapu Bulu again. The second features Team Rocket challenge Ash now that they have mastered Z-Moves. The third features Ash face off against Nanu for the Grand Trial where has has to beat three Pokémon in a row only using a single Pokémon.

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
Following the reveal of it in Gamestop in US stores from May 4th through May 25th, we now have further details of global distributions for the Xerneas & Yveltal events. In the UK & Spainit is distributed at GAME from May 4th through May 26th. In France it is at Micromania. In Germany & Italy it is at Gamestop. In Austrtalia & Canada it is at EB Games Like the other distributions, they differ between games with Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon's being Level 100 with a Gold Bottle Cap and Sun & Moon's being Level 60. Sun & Ultra Sun get Yveltal while Moon & Ultra Moon get Xerneas. Our Event Database has been updated with full details of these events

Pokémon GO
A new event has been announced. From 20:00 UTC tonight to May 14th, Fighting-type Pokémon will appear in increased spawns. In addition to this, you'll receive 2x XP in Gym and Raid Battles and 3000 Stardust and a Rare Candy guaranteed. You'll also receive double points for all gym actions

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Battle Competition
Details for the next Battle Competition have been announced. This is the Ultra No Holds Barred competition. This is a Single Battle competition where players can only use Pokémon from the National Pokédex and prohibits use of Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, Solgaleo, and Lunala. All Pokémon will be raised to Level 100 for the duration of the competition. Registration runs from May 17th 2018 to May 24th 2018. Battles will run from May 25th through May 27th. All entrants will get the 50 Battle Points. Special Download Rules are now available for this competition and our Battle Competition page has been update to list all eligible Pokémon

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Global Missions
The seventh Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Global Mission has begun. This Global Mission's theme is to earn BP at the Battle Tree. The goal is to reach 2,000,000 BP earned by May 14th at 23:59 UTC. If the mission is a success, then participating players get 2,000 FC or 4,000 FC if they have a Global Link account tied to their game while if it's a failure players will get 1,000 FC or 2,000 FC if they have a Global Link account tied to their game.

Pokémon Duel - Update
The smartphone game, Pokémon Duel, has had a new update. This patch takes it to version 6.0.4 and requires 247MB of space on your mobile device to download. It is required to update in order to play the game
This patch contains various brand new figures.
The UX Figures are Mega Tyranitar, Mega Aggron & Shaymin Sky Forme,
The EX Figures are Shaymin Land Forme & Regirock
The R Figures are Lycanroc Midday Form & Lycanroc Midnight Form
The UC Figures are Rockruff, & Relicanth

There is also an Extreme Gratitude promotion that gives you a Booster Ticket each day as well as an Alolan Raichu and other bonuses

Pokémon Shuffle has begun Week 12 of its event cycle. This cycle continues the Pokémon Safari from last week as well as the following stages that will run for a week
The Ultra Challenge Stage is a stage for Xurkitree
The Great Challenge Stages are Kingdra, Turtwig (Winking), Rhyperior, Togekiss (Winking) & Reshiram
The Daily Pokémon are Slurpuff (Winking), Audino (Winking), Togetic (Winking), Carbink (Winking) & Swirlix (Winking)
There's a One Chance Per Day stage for Thundurus
There's a Special stage for Salamence
In addition to this, there's a Darkrai Escalation Battle which will run for two weeks.
