Ahead of the upcoming live events, Niantic have put out a load of worldwide rewards that will unlock during hte event
Dortmund Safari Zone - June 30th-July 1st - Rewards run from July 2nd to 9th
Safari Zone - Complete 100,000 Research Tasks - Catch EXP Increase
Europe - Complete 5,000,000 Research Tasks - Raid EXP Increase
Americas - Complete 5,000,000 Research Tasks - Hatch EXP Increase
Asia Pacific - Complete 5,000,000 Research Tasks - Lucky Eggs last 1 hour
GO Fest - July 14/15 = Rewards run from July 16 - 23rd
GO Fest - Complete 100,000 Research Tasks - Catch Candy Increase

In addition to this, they confirm that Grass and Poison types will appear more globally to coincide with the Safari Zone in Dortmund, with Shiny Roselia starting to appear from there.
At the time of GO Fest, Feebas and Trapinch and other rare Pokémon will spawn in increased numbers globally. Plusle and Minun will also appear more and their Shiny Variants will be available
Finally, Alolan Diglett and Alolan Geodude will start to appear globally on July 14th

Ahead of tomorrow's Community Day, a new box of items has been temporarily put on sale. These will last throughout Community Day, but no end date has been given. They are as follows
Community Day Box - 480 Coins - 6 Lucky Egg, 4 Premium Raid Passes, 20 Pinap Berries & 30 Ultra Balls

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Battle Competition
Registration for the next Battle Competition has begun. This is the 2018 International Challenge June competition. This is a Double Battle competition using standard VGC rules, with players being able to earn CP to go towards qualification for the World Championships.. All Pokémon will be raised to Level 50 for the duration of the competition. Registration runs from June 7th 2018 to June 14th 2018. Battles will run from June 15th through June 17th. All entrants will get the 50 Battle Points.
In addition to this, this allows players to earn Championship Points to go towards a place in the World Championships

Pokkén Tournament DX
The next special Group Match has begun on Pokkén Tournament DX. Until June 17th you can participate in the "Alter-Ego Army" Group Match. This cup is a Team Battle competition, once again on a Fixed Battle Arena. Participating in this brings a special title reward based on Croagunk, and if you place highly you'll get other titles based on your placement.
