A new trailer was released as part of the Train On series and in this, a variety of new footage and details confirmations were shown. For example, it confirms Exeggcute evolves into Alolan Exeggutor through the Leaf Stone. It also showcased the English name of the Normal-type Z Move, Breakneck Blitz, which had been seen in previous trailers and demonstrations, as well as the first look of the Rock-type Z Move

Various European distributions of Genesect have been confirmed. In the UK, Genesect will be given at GAME from November 1st through 24th. In France, it'll be given at Micromania from November 2nd through November 24th. In Germany it will be in Gamestop and Toys 'R' Us from November 2nd through November 24th. A new release of information has come for Pokémon Sun & Moon. We're currently compiling all the information from the trailer so keep checking back
Rowlet's evolution is called Decidueye which is Grass/Ghost. It has the move Spirit Shackle that prevents opponents switching out. Litten's evolution is Incineroar with the move Darkest Lariat which ignores stat changes. It is Fire/Dark. Popplio's is called Primarina and is Water/Fairy
The island guardians are Tapu Lele which is Psychic/Fairy with the ability Psychic Surge. Tapu Bulu which is Grass/Fairy with Grassy Surge and Tapu Fini which is Water/Fairy with Misty Surge. Each of these set their respective Terrains. Psychic Terrain prevents Priority Moves being used. They have their unique Z-Move, Guardian of Alola.
A new Pokémon is revealed called Cosmog. It is Psychic-type with the ability Unaware.
Persian is pure Dark-type with the abilities Fur Coat and Technician
In the game, they are trying to create a league and the champions of the league take on the Battle Tree where trainers like Cynthia, Blue and Red are. They can be battled against and teamed with.

Pokémon Sun & Moon - New Pokémon
The official Japanese Twitter has just revealed the final starter evolutions for Pokémon Sun & Moon. These match the leaks that were released back in June and showcase them in new poses that hadn't been seen. The Grass starter is known in Japan as Junaipa (ジュナイパー), the Fire as Gaogaen (ガオガエン) and the Water as Ashirene (アシレーヌ). Unfortunately, any secondary types have yet to be revealed but be sure to check back.

Pokémon Comaster - Update
The smartphone game, Pokémon Comaster, has had a new update. This update added a variety of brand new figures into the game, all with existing mechanics: Greninja, Chesnaught and Delphox (EX) and Raichu, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Zweilous, Sliggoo, Shuppet and Pupitar. These have all been added to the standard Trevo with the usual chance of getting them based on rarity.
In addition to this, to celebrate Halloween, a special Halloween Trevo prize has been added to League Matches. These Trevo contain a variety of Dark & Ghost-type Pokémon, as well as others such as Delphox and Espurr.

Pokémon Bank - Hidden Ability Legendary Golems
For those of you globally, the currently running Pokémon Bank event distribution is due to end on Monday. This event offers a download of the Legendary Golems, Regirock, Regice and Registeel with their Hidden Abilities of Sturdy, Ice Body and Light Metal respectively. This distribution runs until October 31st for all players of Pokémon Bank and can be sent to Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire through their Pokémon Link feature. You get one of each per Pokémon Bank account and you need to make sure to have received all PokéMiles/BP sitting in the game's Pokémon Link before you can receive these Pokémon. You need to have paid the annual fee in order to receive these Pokémon

The Halloween promotion for Pokémon GO has begun. During this promotion, the Pokémon Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat, Golbat, Cubone, Marowak, Meowth, Drowzee and Hypno will be more likely to appear. Buddy Pokémon will also distribute Candy in a quarter of the usual time and the Candy rewards from catching Pokémon and transferring them to Professor Willow shall be doubled. It runs until Tuesday November 1st.

The Pokémon Global Link for Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire is to shut down this coming Monday, October 31st, at 23:59 UTC (19:59 EDT, 16:59 PDT, 23:59 GMT, November 1st: 00:59 CET, 08:59 JST, 09:59 AEST) ahead of the addition of the Pokémon Global Link for Pokémon Sun & Moon on November 18th. As such, all PokéMiles stored on the Global Link will be lost. Any items that have not been sent to the games which have been purchased or won on the Pokémon Global Link will also be lost forever. In addition to that, Rating Battle for the games in Battle Spot, as well as Game Sync will also go offline. Mystery Gift, Free Battle, GTS, Wonder Trade and all other online features in the games will remain operational

A few brand new challenges have begun on Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
First, there is a Mega Banette competitive stage. First, the top 300 in North America, 200 in Europe & 1,000 in Japan will get a Banettite and 3 Mega Speedups & 3 Raise Max Level. The top 1,600 in North America, 1,000 in Europe & 5,000 in Japan will get a Banettite and 2 Mega Speedups & 2 Raise Max Level. The top 8,000 in North America, 5,000 in Europe & 25,000 in Japan will get a Banettite, a Raise Max Level & a Mega Speedup. The top 20,000 in North America, 13,000 in Europe & 60,000 in Japan will get a Banettite and a Disruption Delay. The top 26,000 in North America, 18,000 in Europe & 80,000 in Japan will get an Attack Power and a Disruption Delay. All other players will get an Attack Power.
Next, the Gengar (Spooky) stage has begun a run. It runs until November 1st 2016. It can be played once a day and its capture chance increases each day.
Next, the Giratina Altered Form stage has begun a new Escalation Battle running until November 7th 2016.
Finally, the Dusknoir stage has begun a repeat run. It runs until November 7th 2016

A special broadcast has aired on NicoNico for Pokémon Sun & Moon and, within this it showed some gameplay footage early on. We'll update this as more details come. In it, a minor feature was showcased of shaking grass. As the trainer approached it, the Pokémon in the shaking grass ran up to him. True mechanics of this feature are unclear at this time
12:32: After capturing a new Pokémon, Rotom will give you a report of how complete your Pokédex is in terms of percentage.
13:12: The stream went on to Ilima's trial which requires you to look around for Alolan Rattata which are hiding in parts of the cave. You get a Z Crystal for completion. It also confirmed that there are 7 trials.

A new patch has started to go live for Android and iOS devices, with a gradual release happening. This patch, Version 1.13.3, adds a difference in patterns for eggs based on the distance that's required to hatch them. They have also added icons for each Pokémon's type in the information screen. Finally, they have added a low battery indicator for the GO Plus. Full details of the patch are still coming so keep checking back

A new trailer has been released, tying in with a special Mimikyu promotion in Japan. This trailer is a small song featuring Mimikyu and its desire to be like Pikachu. A new Alola Form has been revealed. This Alola Form is of Alolan Persian, the evolution of Alolan Meowth and was revealed on the front cover of the upcoming Alolan Pokédex guide to be released in Japan on December 14th 2016. The next piece of Nintendo hardware has been announced. Formerly known through the codename NX, this device is the Nintendo Switch. It's a home console device that can have the controller separate from the console for portable gaming on the go. Last month, The Pokémon Company CEO, Tsunekazu Ishihara, confirmed that they were developing Pokémon games for this hardware.

Pokkén Tournament Arcade
A new update has come to the arcade version of Pokkén Tournament. This event runs from today until October 31st and adds the brand new Pokémon, Scizor, into the fold. It also adds a special Extra Battle to the Single Player for you to face against Scizor. If you beat it, you get a special title. A fourth Mission Panel has also gone live which gives various Halloween related items for your avatar and titles. The Mismagius and Ninetales Support set is also now obtainable again if it wasn't obtained during a previous distribution and there are a myriad of new outfit items that will come through Special Bonus.

Pokémon Shuffle - Events
A few brand new challenges have begun on Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
First, a special Sableye (Spooky) challenge has begun, giving a special new Ghost-type Sableye. It runs until November 1st 2016
Next, a new Pokémon Safari has begun and will run until November 1st 2016. This stage gives Zubat, Golbat, Crobat, Drifloon, Pumpkaboo (Spooky), Gourgeist (Spooky) and Pikachu (Spooky)
Next, a Drifblim stage has also begun. It also runs until November 1st 2016
Finally, the Hoopa Confined & Landorus Incarnate Forme stages have begun repeat runs. Hoopa runs until November 1st 2016 while Landorus runs until October 25th 2016

If you were one of the lucky players worldwide who ranked in the Mega Pidgeot competitive stage over the past week, then the Pidgeotite is now available to be received. A new Pokémon has seemingly been revealed on the merchandise box for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. On the Booster Box for the Collection Sun set, due out later this year, this small blue spikey Pokémon was shown. Some details have come regarding the release of the Pokémon Sun & Moon demo tomorrow. Previously, we only had the date of Tuesday October 18th 2016 as when it'll be released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop, with many questions as to the timing of the release. However, the Nintendo Download press release for Europe has just been released and within it, it has confirmed that the demo is to come in "late morning" in Europe. It's currently unclear if it'll be similar or simultaneous for all other regions but we'll provide full details as and when they come so be sure to keep checking back

It has been announced that Pokémon The First Movie and its associated Pikachu's Summer Vacation short is to get a brief re-release in Cinemas across North America. A new release of information has come for Pokémon Sun & Moon. We're currently compiling all the information from the trailer so keep checking back
First, Silvally is revealed as Silvadi's English name with its ability RKS System. It also confirms that there are unique memory items for each type
Jangmo-o's evolutions are Hakamo-o and Kommo-o respectively, both retaining Bulletproof and Soundproof. Kommo-o has a unique move, Clanging Scales which does a lot of damage but lowers its own Defense
Bounsweet evolves into Steenee, which is Grass-type with the abilities Leaf Guard and Oblivious, which then evolves into Tsareena which is also Grass-type with the ability Leaf Guard and Queenly Majesty, which blocks Priority moves. It has unique move called Trop Kick which does damage and lowers the opponent's Attack
Finally, Cutiefly's evolution is called Ribombee, which is Bug/Fairy-type and the abilities Honey Gather and Shield Dust
Next, Alolan Muk is also revealed, with both it and Grimer having the abilities Poison Touch and Gluttony
New trainers are also revealed including Olivia, the Kahuna of Akala Island and Ilima

Pokémon Sun & Moon - Events
Every year, in Japan when you go to the Pokémon Centers around your birthday, you are able to download a special distribution of a Pokémon. In Generation VI, these Pokémon were the Eeveelutions or Pikachu. However, the distributions for Pokémon Sun & Moon have been announced. From November 18th, you'll be able to go to the Pokémon Centers to receive a Pikachu, an Eevee or a Comfey for your games. We'll provide full details as they come
In addition to this, to celebrate the revamp of Pokémon Center Sapporo, from December 1st through Janaury 31st, you'll be able to download an Alola Form Vulpix in the Sapporo Pokémon Center due to Alolan Vulpix being the new mascot of the Pokémon Center

Some further new details have come out for the Pokémon Sun & Moon anime. First, it is confirmed that the main characters of the anime aside from Ash are the Trial Captains Kiawe, Sophacles, Lana and Mallow. Some biographies for them are as follows Ash - Ash has travelled to the Alola Region with Pikachu Rotom Pokédex - Rotom Pokédex will speak to Ash and aid him in his journey Lillie - She likes Pokémon, but for some reason cannot touch them Kiawe - He likes Fire-type Pokémon. He helps out on his family's farm while attending the school Mallow - She likes Grass-type Pokémon. She has an active personality, but can be goofy. She helps out the family business of the Aina Cafeteria Lana - She likes Water-type Pokémon. She's docile but active. She's the eldest of three daughters of a fisherman Sophacles - He likes Electric-type Pokémon. He is a programming geek and loves to analyse things. Professor Kukui - The Pokémon Professor of the region who studies Pokémon moves and teaches at the school. Ash is staying at his home. Samson Oak - Professor Samuel Oak's cousin. He's the headmaster of the school and studies Alola Pokémon evolution Team Rocket - They have travelled to the Alola Region to capture Pikachu

The first images from CoroCoro have leaked and have revealed the latest news on Sun & Moon. As always, do note that translations are preliminary while we work on them. These images confirm the information revealed yesterday but not shown of Jangmo-o's evolutions, Jarango & Jararanga, and Type: Null and its evolution Silvadi. We'll bring more as it comes
06:11: When Type: Null finds a trainer it trusts, it destroys its helmet and evolves into Silvadi. While it is Normal-type as standard, there is a special hold item called Memory that lets it be one of all 18 types at any one time thanks to its ability, AR System. It's not currently known if it's one item that can change this, or if there are 18 different ones. The type change is reflected in its eyes, mane and tail which glow the colour representing the type. It has a new attack called Multi Attack which changes type based on its hold item

Today a special NicoNico stream aired for Pokkén Tournament and within this, revealed a brand new character which will be available to play in the arcade game. This Pokémon is Scizor and his Burst Attack has him Mega Evolve into Mega Scizor. It's a Power Pokémon in the game. Scizor goes live in the arcades on October 20th. We'll provide a trailer shortly

In the first image, we see Alolan Grimer, which appears to be a Poison/Dark-type.
10:20: From the same source, but currently without pictures so it's unconfirmed, Jangmo-o's evolution is in the magazine, and is Dragon/Fighting-type, and that Type: Null it evolves into a Pokémon called
Shiruvadi (シルヴァディ) and that either Null or its evolution change type based on items it holds. We'll bring confirmation of this as and when it comes so keep checking back.
12:50: The same source says that Shiruvadi has got the ability "AR System" which changes its type based on the hold item.
14:06: The same source also says that Jangmo-o's full evolution line is in CoroCoro. Its evolution is known in Japan as Jarango and Jarango then evolves into Jararanga. Once again, this remains unconfirmed until images surface

Some further details have been released for the upcoming European International Championships for VGC. This is one of four large events through the year, replacing the National Championships. It will be held in the ExCel in London on December 9th through December 11th and runs Sun & Moon rules. First, Masters will run the full three days while Juniors and Seniors only runs on Saturday & Sunday. Juniors & Seniors have an entry fee of Ł25 while Masters has one of Ł40
The event begins on Thursday December 8th with the Masters Player Checkin at 6pm, followed by the Player Meeting at 9am on Friday December 8th. Battles begin at 9am each day with Sunday being the Top 8 for both VGC and TCG

A few brand new challenges have begun on Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
First up is a Mega Pidgeot competitive stage. This stage has a new tier of prizes. First, the top 300 in North America, 200 in Europe & 1,000 in Japan will get a Pidgeotite and 3 Mega Speedups & 3 Raise Max Level. The top 1,600 in North America, 1,000 in Europe & 5,000 in Japan will get a Pidgeotite and 2 Mega Speedups & 2 Raise Max Level. The top 8,000 in North America, 5,000 in Europe & 25,000 in Japan will get a Pidgeotite, a Raise Max Level & a Mega Speedup. The top 20,000 in North America, 13,000 in Europe & 60,000 in Japan will get a Pidgeotite and a Disruption Delay. The top 26,000 in North America, 18,000 in Europe & 80,000 in Japan will get an Attack Power and a Disruption Delay. All other players will get an Attack Power.
Next up is a challenge to get Thundurus Therian Forme. It will run until October 25th 2016
Next is a new Daily Pokémon collection that runs until October 18th 2016. It runs through special Winking variants of Bulbasaur (Thursday), Charmander (Tuesday), Squirtle (Wednesday), Clefairy (Monday) and Jigglypuff (Friday).
Finally, Electivire has begun a repeat run until October 25th 2016. It may drop Electivire Skill Boosters if it has been caught already

A new patch has started to go live for Android and iOS devices, with a gradual release happening. This patch, Version 1.11.2, adds the special Capture Bonus and new Gym training features that were announced last week. It also fixes various glitches and issues and shortens the animation time for evolution. Nintendo UK have released a new trailer which is essentially an English version of the Pokémon Sun & Moon Legendary Pokémon trailer released in Japan a few weeks ago. On the official Japanese website, along with the demo filesize listing listed on Tuesday, the official site also noted the estimated file size for the actual download versions of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. The games will take up 3.2GB, approx. 26,215 blocks, of space on your SD card. The official site advises that having a 4GB SD card and having the demo and the main game may result in not having enough space, recommending higher storage capacities. We'll provide more as it comes.

Niantic have announced a new feature coming soon to Pokémon GO. As you capture more Pokémon of the same type, you will get a special bonus to the capture rate of Pokémon of that type. The higher the medal, the bigger the capture bonus. It's a +1 bonus for Bronze, +2 for Silver and +3 for Gold
Edit @ 19;39: Another update has been announced. With this, you will now be able to take in up to 6 Pokémon to train against a gym of your own team, and the CP of the Gym's Pokémon would be adjusted lower to match your Pokémon's CP for the duration of the training.

Pokémon Shuffle - Events
The Pokémon Company has announced some more events for the coming weeks. From October 11th, special winking Pokémon will be available daily. These include Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Clefairy & Jigglypuff and will only appear for the 24 hours. From October 18th 2016, a special Halloween promotion will begin involving a Costumed Pikachu. We'll bring full details on these events when they come so keep checking back

A new release of information has come for Pokémon Sun & Moon. We're currently compiling all the information from the trailer so keep checking back
First, Rowlet's evolution, Dartrix has been revealed. As has Litten's called Torracat and Popplio's called Brionne
A new area called Festival Plaza where you can play games to collect Festival Coins to spend in various shops including ones that boost Effort Values. It is also accessed through the bottom screen to allow for battling & trade with other players, as well aschange theme of the plaza. There are also missions to follow
Next, the Poké Pelago uses boxed Pokémon to attract wild Pokémon on Isle Abeens & Isle Aphun for items
Mega Evolution has been confirmed for Pokémon Sun & Moon
Ash-Greninja is obtained through a special demo to be released October 18th 2016. It can then be transferred to the main games at launch. Ash Greninja has the ability Battle Bond which causes it to change form when it knocks out an opponent

There is a way to play with QR Rental teams by scanning the QR Codes from their Pokémon Global Link. This allows you to utilise other people's teams but you can't enter certain Rating Battles, but can have Link Battles with these teams
14:12: Global Missions are also to be added to the Global Link. These are shared missions on the Festival Plaza. The first in Late November is "Catch A Lot of Pokémon"
A new system being introduced to the battle time settings is “Your Time.” When using this method of time accounting, players will have a maximum of 60 seconds each turn to select a move or Pokémon, and they will also each be awarded 10 minutes of “Your Time.” Under these rules, if a player runs out of their 10 minutes before the battle ends, that player loses the match. This will mean matches can be decided more quickly than in the past, allowing players to enjoy thrilling battles.

Pokkén Tournament - New Arcade Character
It has been announced that a brand new character is to be announced for the arcade version of Pokkén Tournament on October 13th 2016. No hints have been given to the identity of this specific Pokémon or if it'll come to the Wii U version but we'll provide full details as and when it comes so be sure to check back.

A few brand new challenges have begun on Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
First, the Winking Togekiss event has begun. It runs until October 18th 2016
Next, the Feraligatr stage has also begun. It will run until October 18th 2016
Next, the Palkia stage has begun a repeat run. It runs until October 18th 2016 and may drop Palkia Skill Boosters.
Next, the Kabutops stage has begun a repeat run. It runs until October 18th 2016 and may drop Kabutops Skill Boosters.
Next, the Bellossom stage has begun a repeat run. It runs until October 11th 2016 and may drop Bellossom Skill Boosters.
Finally, the Thundurus Incarnate Forme has begun a repeat run. It can be played once a day until October 11th and may drop Thundurus Skill Boosters or Mega Speedups
In addition to that, three new Mission Cards were added

Pokémon Shuffle - Events
If you were one of the lucky players worldwide who ranked in the Mega Beedrill competitive stage over the past week, then the Beedrillite is now available to be received. The Attack Power, Mega Speedup and Raise Max Level for the higher ranked players will also be obtained. If you didn't qualify, then you can redeem an Attack Power. To get these items, simply Check In between now and October 11th 2016 at 06:00 UTC and you will receive the item.

Pokémon Comaster - Update
The smartphone game, Pokémon Comaster, has had a new version update. This update brings the game up to Version 1.3.1. This patch doesn't add much but does add the capability to spectate currently running online matches. It requires 158MB of space to download

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Serial Code
A new second chance event has begun in North America. This gets you the Mythical Pokémon, Hoopa and is obtained by the special shared Serial Code 2016HOOPA. It's currently unknown when the code will run to so be sure to get it while you can. It comes with the Smoke Ball and the moves Hyperspace Hole, Psychic, Astonish & Nasty Plot. With the weekly posting of information on the Holo Caster in Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire in Japan, it has been announced that the Holo Caster service has been discontinued. Currently, when you log into the Holo Caster to retrieve the latest information, it will inform you that the service is discontinued and give you the final notice, which details how the Holo Caster has been around for 3 years. In all regions, this feature was used to give news about Pokémon, both games and even real life events, through SpotPass and downloaded manually from the internet.
