Pokémon are a variation of Pokémon SP. These were introduced within the Rising Rivals set to signify the Pokémon owned by the Gym Leaders of Sinnoh in a similar manner to Owner's Pokémon in the Gym Heroes, Gym Challenge and VS sets in the early years.

Like the other Pokémon SP cards, these cards feature the image of their trainer just below the artwork and have been tied with Pokémon Lv. X.
